Birthday celebration with our children & grown grands for my dear hubby of 55 1/2 years
Posted Apr. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayOur family enjoyed our rare time together in this lovely, spacious & peaceful home. The abundantly supplied kitchen,plentiful & comfortable furniture ,abundance of gorgeous art,curio collections & lovely decor made our visit feel more like being in a well loved home than just getting together in a rental ,which I believe was especially refreshing for those dealing with health challenges. Being able to bring our young family dog was a blessing for us even though she was somewhat traumatized by an off leash dog who appeared from nowhere after our 1st walk on the beach & attacked her as she was getting back into our car in the parking lot. Sharing this for other dog lovers who may bring them: please keep aware of the possibility of a possible loose dog sneaking behind cars.

Posted Apr. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayWell we loved the house but i wished you had tv in living room. There was a hair tie in master bedroom, so i assumed maybe they didn’t clean right. I wish you had vacuum and some cleaning supplies around so i could clean lil more, I didn’t like that kids couldn’t sleep downstairs cause it was very cold and even for my dogs, good thing i bought them extra blankets for them, they don’t have much fur. I didn’t take pictures in house cause I expected the house to be more up to date, looked like old furniture. We love Lincoln City so maybe we will see u and in July and August. Thanks for everything

To answer some of your comments…not sure about the hair tie. Sounds like this was missed by the cleaners. I’ll definitely let them know.
The pictures we have online show the style of the house and the furniture we’ve selected. There are some antiques in the house and I guess by definition these are considered “old” but we happen to love them! We do change out furniture as over time things get broken or worn out with use.
There is a vacuum on the first floor. It’s typically kept in the garage next to the bike. There are multiple space heaters both for dogs and humans on the first floor. Maybe you didn’t see them. In the future, please don’t hesitate to message us if you can’t find something or are having any issues whatsoever. We typically respond within minutes.
We don’t keep a TV in the living room as a conscious choice. We just think that when families get together, we love encouraging people to socialize in the living room instead of having a TV blaring away. There are several other rooms that people can go to watch a movie or a show.
We do take your input seriously and love the constructive criticism so thank you!

Posted Oct. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayWhat a perfect location!! And the 5 bedrooms + basement area all with private bathrooms was ideal. Was unaware of the elevator, but it sure came in handy for those with mobility issues. Would definitely rent again. The hosts went above and beyond.

Annual Family Trip

We had a party of 15 and the house not only accommodated all of us, but still had plenty of room for kids to play around and not feel trapped. The property manager is amazing and so easy to communicate with. By far our favorite place in Lincoln City.

Amazing property and great owner
Posted Jun. 29, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed here with 11 people aged 16-56 and had a great time. The house is centrally located with a very short walk to beach access. The dock right on D river is relaxing and the views are breathtaking. We saw herons, mink and deer right along the water's edge. The kitchen is equipped very well for a large group. All the bedrooms were comfortable. The owner was fantastic with communication. We are so glad that we got lucky with this last minute reservation.

Great house for family trip
Posted Jun. 20, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a group of 16 and this house was all we could have asked for. Beautiful property and location. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach. We loved having access to the canoe and kayaks for the lake. The hot tub was awesome.
The only complaints were small things that didn’t hinder us having a great time. More extra bedding for the hide-a-beds would have been nice. As well as more wash clothes and dish towels in the kitchen.
But overall we had a fantastic stay with great communication with the owners.
