We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!

They masterfully blended expertise with fun, creating not just a meal but a joyful learning experience that engaged all our senses. The property itself is breathtaking - a perfect harmony of meticulous curation and effortless elegance. Walking through the sprawling gardens feels like entering a dream, with vibrant pomegranates, aromatic sage, and an abundance of flowers and trees creating a natural paradise. Both the charming cottage and main building maintain this whimsical magic while providing pristine comfort.
