Casa do Borratém for 2 people
The Borratém House is situated in a Country Region, Mafra district, 25Kms from Lisbon, in the center of a village that was characterized in the past by farming activities.
The scarcity of water in this village made the families dig small wells. On the street where this house now stands, was once one of these wells, which served mainly to give water to animals, which locals have come to call the “Poceco Borratem”.
For its unique location, near the capital (Lisbon), this small family house, built in 1944, and with typical construction of the time, offers a rural experience and simultaneously serves as a starting point to explore the many attractions of the region.

Gonçalo is a wonderful host, made sure I had everything I needed. The house is kept in great condition and sits on a hill that gives you a breeze and amazing early morning and evening views. Definitely returning.

Belle location près de Mafra, très bien située pour sillonner de Mafra à Lisbonne et Sintra. Accueil exceptionnel de Gonçalo Mota et de son père qui nous amenait pain et oeufs tous les matins... Parfait pour un couple. Cette ancienne maison de famille a été restaurée dans le style Portugais et chaleureux.
