Disappointing stay- Misleading Listing and Unmet Basic Needs

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for future guests. The listing for this property was quite misleading. While I understand and respect that there is no air conditioning, we were not allowed to open the windows — even at night — to let in fresh air. A fan was provided, but unfortunately, it was ineffective and did not help with airflow or cooling the space.There were also several basic needs that were not met. When we requested additional garbage bags (as the provided one quickly began to smell, especially due to the bathroom policy of not flushing toilet paper), we were told no. Similarly, we asked for a pillowcase for one of the extra pillows, which came uncovered, and were again denied.While I can appreciate rustic or eco-conscious accommodations, this stay felt unnecessarily restrictive and uncomfortable. With clearer communication and a bit more hospitality, the experience could have been much better. As it stands, I would not recommend this property.
