We werent able to check in due to weather conditions causing flight cancellations. Requested for any kind of relief - partial refund or future credit for a stay. They rejected the request from me as well as Expedia who tried contacting them on behalf of us. Writing this review while staying at another great prorperty here in Lisbon.

Regarding the apartment itself, I give a give a 4/5. This right window could not open, but left window did and one had a small view of Lisbon from the left window. The kitchen was compact and fully functional, as was the washer (no drier). The bathroom was nice (strong, HOT water). The bed was a bit firm, and my Wife bruised herself upon on of the support-beams within the bed. Housekeeping was very tidy and were available everyday we requested. The air-freshener was very strong, and there were two roaches but property management was prompt in addressing our concerns. Not much can be done about the drug addicts outside, but they are not as aggressive as the ones at home (ignore them and they leave you alone). The area is close to Figueira and Rossio Squares, and about a block from a busy little corner store.

Terrible check-in experience as we did not receive the code to enter the building and could not get in. Had to contact Expedia to assist us to get in the building as there is no front desk. The phone number available we could not get through. The street is very narrow and we felt quite unsafe standing there waiting to get in based on the people hanging out there. Overall good central location but the street did not feel safe. Also the photos did not show the 2nd bed as pull out bunk beds. Stated could sleep 5 people but was very tight and not as expected. Very loud at night in the building and on the street. Overall would not recommend.

June 12/25 The area was not my favourite, it felt like I was in a homeless neighbourhood, even dough we never had any issues with anyone, getting in the street was not very pleasant. The location is perfect to all major attractions and easy for walking everywhere. The top streets of this property was good and had entertainment at night which added a good touch to the stay ignoring where the property is located. We didn’t stay out late but a lot of people around at night made it feel more safe. The apartment inside was good and spacious and as we crossed the entrance of the building, the manager helped us to navigate through the check in machine, he was very pleasant, we were like ok this feels good and it is close to everything, then on our last day at check out, when we were taking a shower and getting ready to go home, I found two bed bug on the wall close to bed, See picture for reference. I checked the mattress and didn’t see anything but I did see some blood dropping on the sheet by my feet. No bites on my body, or I haven’t seen anything yet since I am writing this review in the plane and I didn’t have time to check anywhere else. This discovery made my experience very bad to end my tip in Lisbon. I wish I had cheeked everything when we checked in, this should be a good practice when staying in hotels but sometimes due to excitement we forget to do our diligent checks, this could be an issue due to the area. 😿

Our room looked nothing like any of the pictures. Was hard to find. We didn’t have any hot water. There was a washer but no instructions on drying. Smelled awful. I would request a refund but doubt that would go anywhere. Just horrible.

They charged big amount on top of what we already had paid in Expedia and then they gave us the entrance code. In our whole trip this was the only place they charged us. But the apartment itself was very clean. The area was very dirty and in the evenings we saw rats outside and around the buildings. I also saw a roach once inside the apartment because the people that did the room service forgot to close the windows

The apartment itself was spacious, ( we weren’t expecting it to be two floors!) had good amenities (washer and dryer), and in a great location for proximity to dining, public transportation, sight seeing and attractions. Unfortunately there was a homeless encampment very close to the apartment that we had to walk by every morning and the whole area often smelled like urine. This shouldn’t be held against the property as they have no control over it, but it does detract from the overall pleasantness of the area. The only concern we had with the apartment itself was that the cleaning service wasn’t great. Not everything was consistently cleaned, especially the kitchen. On the other hand, it was a nice perk that there was daily cleaning at all.
