3 bed 2 bath Beach cottage 1750 sq ft with gardens 15 minute walk to the beach

3 bedroom beach cottage with one master suite with spacious bathtub and separate shower, 2 extra bedrooms with second bathroom. French style kitchen with adjacent sitting area. Floor plan approx. 1750 sq. ft. Spacious lounge, dining room and French country kitchen with adjacent sitting area, breaks up the living spaces. Front garden with leafy shady trees and rope swing and back deck with barbecue and grass area. Beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas available. Please note this is my home and has personal effects, books, photos, clothing (in some of the bedroom cupboards). The beach cottage shares a side access way to a separate one bedroom beach apartment and garden at the back of the property which is not part of the VRBO rental, but can be made available (beginning New Year 2026) on request, if more space is needed for your group.

This was a great place and location to stay for my elderly mother, an infant, my dog, and 2 other family members. It felt like a family retreat and the home is so welcoming and cozy. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, close to beach, and palos verdes trees!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family and I couldn't have dreamed up a more lovely place to stay for our vacation. The kitchen, all of the bedrooms, dining area and front garden, are just stunning. This property worked well for our three-night stay -- Grandma and Grandpa in the master bedroom, with relatively large private bath (lots of counter space); adult daughter, her husband, and twin 4-year-old boys in the other two bedrooms with their own bath, albeit small. A rope swing and soccer ball in the front yard provided a mini-playground for the boys, and the living room and kitchen provided indoor room to roam. We did no cooking, so can't comment on the kitchen amenities. Lots of interesting books to thumb through. Handy Torrance location, just off of Pacific Coast Highway.

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient

This place is lovely from the outside and cozy on the inside. Just a walk from the Hollywood Riviera where Starbuck’s, Trader Joe’s and restaurants are available. The beach is just a little bit farther. Wonderful to stay at a place so close to my childhood stomping grounds.

Cute house with a great location. Was warm and stuffy when I arrived, but opened the windows and ran the fans to get comfortable. Great kitchen and outdoor space. House had everything I needed and a quick walk to Redondo.

Lovely Home - Perfect Setting

Perfect Location

If you want a charming home that is welcoming this is a great place! Best location for our itinerary. Went for my son’s graduation at USC, family came in from NYC and have never been to CA. We were able to drive one day down the southern coast, the next day the northern coast and sight see. Had a gathering of 10 ppl for a graduation dinner, the kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved how we could sit at the huge dining table and still converse with ppl in the family room. The neighborhood is adorable and quaint. Did not hear one neighbor. We felt like we were staying at a family members house, a home with character and comfort.

Quiet, Comfortable, Home Base

More than adequate accommodations at a very clean, quiet, and comfortable home in a nice Redondo neighborhood. Look no further for your home base refuge while visiting Redondo. Kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals if you so choose. Great space in dining room to serve up a meal to the family. Movies, books, area out back to sun or dine al fresco. Nice French countryside touch. Easy communication with Lance, but not intrusive at all. He left us to our visit but was available if we needed anything. We will stay again in the future!

Rose Bowl 2024!

We had a great time visiting our adult son and checking out Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes. This property was situated very nicely and allowed us to enjoy an amazing meal on New Years Eve. We had an enjoyable day at the Rose Bowl. The house was nice to return to after a day full of activities.

quaint home away from home

cozy little home just off PCH with lots of charm. beds are comfortable, master bath tub is nice. perfect for exploring around redondo or just hanging out. it is owner occupied so there are personal items from the owner in the home.

Tenants' refuge during a repair

Lance was so accommodating to the several unusual requests (pet, screens, etc.) and even though he was out of the country, found proxies to fulfill requests quickly! Thank you Lance for your flexibility, and hospitality! Definitely a recommended stay!

Family Time

My family traveled to Los Angeles to bury a loved one, my sister our spouses my son stayed at the home which is spacious beautifully decorated and full of natural light emitting through classic diamond lattice windows. A fabulous six burner grill and oven with a breakfast counter is the center piece of the greatroom which made the perfect setting for a post funeral gathering of family and friends. The dinning room is perfect for an abundance of food and conversation. The large living room provided a comfortable sofa where my 91 year old mother sat comfortably for hours telling stories and reminiscing with four generations of family. Thank you Lance for sharing your magnificent home, we hope to return next year to celebrate life!
