I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of the property and the amazing customer service. From the valet attendants, the guest services team at check in to the servers at the Taverna restaurant, I have experienced such kind and attentive service. It is so refreshing.

When I was sleeping I noticed that my skin was itching and when I checked under the sheets there were a lot of facial hair left on the bed. Might be someone who stayed in the room previously. But when I called the staff downstairs they did assist me in getting new sheets and blankets. Besides that the stay was good the staff were helpful. I loved the free cookies. They just have to work on the maid actually changing the sheets.

I liked that my son lives a few blocks away. Staff were helpful suggesting activities and I felt safe in hotel. I would not walk alone in area especially at night.

My night at the DoubleTree

The room was not totally clean when I arrived. There was a lot of noise from fans running to fireworks. I could hear the showers running and toilets flushing. There was a strike going on at the hotel so that could have attributed to some of the issues. The beds were pretty comfortable.
