The hotel itself was really nice and in a great location, close to Santa Monica Boulevard and everything we wanted to see. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the number of homeless people around the area — I felt a bit uncomfortable walking back to the hotel at night. Overall though, it was still a great stay and a good base for exploring LA.

This is a well located hotel in the downtown Santa Monica area vs price. Across the road from the Santa Monica Metro Station - it is a short walking distance to the pier, shopping/dining area and good priced parking. Had the added feature of a pool/spa area and breakfast - which again was good given the price/value of the property - would recommend

After doing research online for a walkable, family-friendly hotel, we decided to stay here. The location is good, but unfortunately the walls have very poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear noise from other rooms, and twice security knocked on our door with noise complaints about our toddler. Disappointing breakfast.

Room was very clean. We didn’t get service one day for towels and coffee and I was told it’s because we didn’t have our do not disturb sign off before 7am. Most people on vacation are not out of the room by 7 am so that was very odd. Also the front desk did not have coins for laundry and the was no change machine.
