They made me pay a $100 cash deposit after room paid in full by Expedia. No hair dryer. No shampoo/soap to use in the room. Key card woujd not work properly. Something wrong when your turned on hot water on sink. Microwave not working efficiently where breakfast was served.

I fully accept that they needed a cash deposit, but I felt it to be insulting. The key card did not work - it took several passes to get into the room every time. I don't know if they need new cards or if the problem was the door, but it needs to be fixed. I got one little pillow and they did not have more. There was no remote for my TV. There was no trap on the sink, so a lost a pendant from my necklace. On the good side, the staff was very nice and they tried to be helpful.

Super 8 not so super

You get what you pay for. This was not one of the best Super 8's I've stayed in. Cochroaches at night, shower curtain falling off, dogs barking in rooms, folks actually living there & loitering around. I can sleep anywhere so none of that really bothered me but folks should know.

Very disappointing

The location is excellent, right next to the campus I was visiting. The receptionist was very helpful. Beyond this, I was extremely disappointed: the room had no blanket and no pillows, only one of the four lightbulbs worked, there was no cup for water, no chair to sit on, and the mattress was lumpy. What's more, the carpet in the room and throughout the hotel was quite dirty.

The entire place teaks of pot. My toilet would not flush even with water only unless you plunge it. The shower rod was completely broken and falling into the bathtub. The cabinets and surfaces in the room were gross and unclean. The paint and walls were destroyed and worn out. The room didn’t have a chair or a place to sit. It was over all gross.

I still have cigarette smell in my hoody from this place. Can't stand the smell of cigs, this whole place smells like them. The staff were very friendly and helpful though. This hotel is awkwardly nasty for being in such a relevant part of Lynchburg next to LU.

worst place ever

you have to give a cash deposit or you can't stay . you only find this out when you arrive. desk clerk was rude . elevator didn't work had to go back down and deal with desk clerk because no linens or pillows in room. terrible place tried to contact management about refund still waiting
