Sublime colonial elegance

Posted Jan. 13, 2024 on HotelsWe had a great stay here. The location on the hill is wonderful great views to the temples. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and very well supplied. My only critique....need new tips on the snooker que!! Otherwise a great hotel

Perfect place of peace away from the noise and dust of Madurai, yet close enough to access everything in town. Great views of the town from the hotel alongside a diversity of birds, trees and natural life. Staff are the best at all levels. We loved all of it.

Property is very beautiful and peaceful but rooms are not great very spacious room but not clean bathrooms need renovation.
I will not recommend this hotel for elderly people who can’t use stairs because lots of claiming
My best impression is all the staffs very pleasant and courteous.
Especially Mr. Pandian one of the excellent person who helped us lot my special thanks to him.
I will give 5 stars to staffs but management needs to take care of this property.
Also please make sure when you hire employees they must speak Tamil
In Madurai employees don’t know Tamil? 🤔
