Perfect for exploring Malaga

We stayed here for 8 days in August 2024. There were some mixed reviews, but we enjoyed our stay here! I’ll start with the location - 10 minute walk in to the historic centre of Malaga. 15 minute walk to the port. 2 minute walk to a supermarket and 5 minutes from the train station - Maria Zambrano. It was perfect for us. There are also lots of restaurants and bars within minutes from the apartment itself. Pool area was clean and perfect for relaxing around. Please note that the pool itself doesn’t have sun loungers. But we got one and left in the apartment so hopefully other holiday makers will enjoy that. The apartment was clean and modern. One previous review mentioned not enough of cutlery etc. but we didn’t find this a problem at all. There was plenty for us and we were a family of 5. My only downside/comment would be the outdoor seating. The chairs were missing some slats and wasn’t massively comfortable. Other than that, would recommend to anyone with or without children to explore Malaga.

Great days

The appartement was clean, it was a bit small for 6 persons but we managed that well. Great that there is a pool and a small balcony. On the balcony and livingroom there was space for 4 persons. Approximatly about 1,5 km walk from the city. Supermarket and place to have breakfast 300metrrs.

Schön aber…

Wir haben das Apartment von Mittwoch bis Sonntag gemietet. An sich ist das Apartment sehr schön und genau wie auf den Bildern. Nur wirkt es auf den Bilder größer. Die Umgebung ist voller Baustellen und dementsprechend laut. Zu dem kommen noch die Möwen die in der Nacht gewaltig rum schreien. Carlos war unser Gastgeber und ihm gebe ich am liebsten null Sterne. Als wir ankamen, wollte ich nochmal nach einem früheren Check in fragen. Auf die Antwort musste ich erstmal 5 Stunden warten. Irgendwann antwortete er mir patzig und sagte, dass wir uns ja auf 13 Uhr geeinigt haben. Wir konnten nicht mal in das Gebäude, wo wir wenigstens oben auf der Terrasse und setzen könnten. Dann kam er auch noch zu spät und war erst viertel nach da. Ganz entspannt als ob nichts gewesen wäre, zeigt er uns die Wohnung und erklärt alles. Bei der Besichtigung falte uns schon auf dass die jalousi kaputt ist und das ein Fenster sich nicht richtig schließen lässt. Das Licht im Eingangs Flur hatte auch einen Wackelkontakt. Bevor er ging fragten wir noch ob wir evtl. Neue Handtücher bekommen würden jeden Tag. Er sagte jeden Tag nicht, aber einmal dürfen wir, und wir sollten ihm einfach nur Bescheid geben und er würde dann den Putzhilfen im Haus Bescheid geben. Darauf habe ich bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Also wirklich eine Unverschämtheit. Da würde ich lieber eine andere Wohnung suchen.

Wohnung ist ziemlich abgenutzt

Check in hat gut geklappt, obwohl zu dem vereinbarten Zeitpunkt die Reinigungskraft noch in der Wohnung war zum reinigen. Dreckiges Sofa, kaputte Stühle, kaputter Sandwich-Toaster und die Schranktüren haben die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Komplette Ikea Ausstattung. Zu wenig Porzellan und Geschirr so das man die Spülmaschine gar nicht benutzen kann. Baustelle neben an, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat, da wir Übertrags unterwegs waren. Die Lage ist gut was so ziemlich das einzige positive für uns an der Wohnung war.
