The house was nice and private and not too far from Mammoth Cave. We enjoyed the large porch. The listing advertised WiFi, however, we were without WiFi for the entire duration of our stay. The owner was responsive, but failed to resolve the issue and provided solutions that did not work nor were feasible with us being at the park the whole day. Note that there is little to no reception, so having no WiFi and no reception made it impossible to put in directions or make calls. I’ve managed vacation rentals myself, and most places these days have a router connected to a mobile device where the owner can resolve the issue. We would have appreciated someone stopping by as well to try and troubleshoot. There was also an exterior camera that was constantly recording which made us feel that there was limited privacy and could have been turned off after we arrived.
