I recently stayed at Cinnamon Bear Inn and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The room did not feel very clean—the walls looked dirty, and there was a strong floor cleaner smell when we arrived. With all the snow outside, it would have really helped to have an entry mat by the door to wipe off our boots, but there wasn’t one. As a result, we ended up tracking snow inside, which quickly turned into water.

Staff was kind and courteous. The room was okay looks wise. The floor was incredibly loud as was the bed - just moving or sitting on it led to loud creaking. The room was not completely tidy as there were noticeable spiderwebs, small bugs crawling on the wall by the bathroom, and the bathroom floor appeared dirty.

The property is older and rustic, but made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, complementary, and homemade. There are restaurants, a small market, and a laundromat within walking distance.

The facilities are outdated, the towels are stained, my room is above the reception area and the smell of food is unbearable, and to top it all off, we had to leave a night early due to bad weather and not having a suitable car, and they refused to help us at all! Don't go!

Room nothing like the pictures. Staff actually said we were upgraded and it felt like Cold War era room, gloomy, cold, low ceiling. Staff was unhelpful, guy walked in while we were raising our complaint to say, “ our drain is plugged… again”. Owner refused any refund, told us it was Hotel.com’s issue because they posted the pics. Where did those pics come from ya think? Very dated and worn down place. We actually refused to stay and left the property loss or not.

Stayed here for a business trip, 2 nights. Room B was a little difficult to get through (lots of stairs and hauling luggage). But the room was clean and cozy! Shower had good pressure and was nice and hot. Bed and couch was super comfortable too. Breakfast was provided. I went to eat my second morning and the person in front of me used her hands so I didn't eat anything. It smelled amazing though (I could smell it in my room - what a wake up call!) Will stay here again.
