Avis pour Obsidian Dreaming | On the Sierra Star Golf Course
Large roomy house near the town center, but beware of Grand Welcome.Despite being new,the fit and finish of the home is weak;the furniture is almost an afterthought-dining room chairs that are falling apart w black feet caps which keep falling off.Sure, the blinds are motorized, but the master pocket door thunks every time you close it;the master rain shower is clogged. And why is the fourth bed a double-bed and where is the fifth bed? Sleeps 10?The Italian kitchen appliances are not intuitive, ruining a nicely appointed kitchen. The overwhelming take away is any niceties are lost by the underwhelming care from GW.We were not told about the coded gates. We were given the wrong key code. We called GW and were given two additional codes that also did not work. Finally, we got into the garage and into the house and at last the correct gate and lock box code was provided for the key lock box so we actually had a key during our stay.Additionally, the instruction sheet in the house required a pass for the car parked outside.GW responded 24 hours later and said it was not required despite the written requirement. Late check out was not really available. You are required to be out by 10 am, which is unusually early and not noted until we had paid for the home.We learned that the check in time was noon the day of arrival when all of us had already made travel plans for the usual mid to late afternoon check in time. Why offer it if only offered at the last minute when no one can use it.
Obsidian Dreaming is the right name because this place is a DREAM. Everything was spotless, the description was 100% accurate (which is already a win), and it had all the things that make a trip feel extra specialâa hot tub for post-snowboard recovery, BBQ for grilling up good times, and games for the competitive crew. Plus, enough bathrooms so no one had to do the awkward dance of "whoâs next?" Would absolutely stay again!Elite level hosting. If youâre looking for a spot that makes you wanna extend your trip foreverâthis is it
