This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is just a 7-10 minute walk to the lifts at Canyon Lodge. The condo features vaulted ceilings, a large open floorplan in the living area with smart TV, wood-burning fireplace, and dining area with seating for 7 with an additional 4 at the kitchen bar. This unit includes a full kitchen with all of the appliances you need to prepare family meals, and even has a private gas grill on the deck. The upstairs master bedroom features a queen bed with attached bathroom, the second bedroom downstairs has a king bed, the third bedroom has two twin beds. The fourth bedroom features bunk beds with two twin beds (only suitable for kids), and a second bunk bed with a twin on the top, double on the bottom and twin trundle underneath. A large floor plan, family unit just a short walk to Canyon Lodge! All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 10 people, there are 2 levels inside, 2 outdoor parking spaces, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Guests will be provided two parking passes. Dated but well stocked condo in good location

Accurate description. Improvement suggestions: Some of mattresses really need an upgrade. I’d also check the outlet in the King bedroom (didn’t feel safe using). Internet was down for 2 days which is challenging if you need to do anything. Good: Well stocked. Management company was responsive. Hot Tub/Laundry area was great. Ideal location.

Needs serious updating

The property's location is amazing however the unit itself seems to be quite old and a lot of the appliances didn't work and/or were missing. For the price, it's not worth staying here - if you just want a place to sleep and walk 10 min to Canyon Lodge then i'm sure you can find others

If it weren't for the location and layout, this would've been a 1 star. Light bulbs still missing from prior review, no propane in bbq tank, no foil or anything for baking in oven, no coffee, no battery in remote and only 1 TV channel, the parking was completely snowed in.... The management company is great but the place is just dingy.

An Ok place to stay, but needs some updates

This property is old and needs some updates. The carpet is old and looks to be 30-40 years old. I hope they shampoo it, but it's hard to tell because it's so dark. The over all interior finishes are very dark from the floor to the walls to the furniture. There isn't enough natural light most of the day and the normal light fixtures aren't enough to provide adequate light at night. The mattresses are also a mixed bag of uncomfortable. The large mattresses are hard while the twin mattresses are worn out to the point that you can feel the springs sticking you in the back. Lastly, everything is very short in the bathrooms. The counter tops are short, the toilets are short, the light switches are short, even the shower head is short. So short that you have to crouch under it to get water in your hair. The location is very nice. Within one mile walk of the "Village" area. It's also next to a bus stop for easy shuttle access. Over all, not a bad condo. Great location and great amenities including temporary gym membership. Unfortunately, it's very dated and desperately needs updates including new mattresses.

Good Option, Needs some TLC

The property location is right across the street from the main lodge at Mammoth. In the winter, it would be an ideal spot to stay. We stayed there in the fall to see the fall colors and the location was still convenient. The property itself was an ideal size for our group of 10. We were totally satisfied with it. The only comments I would make are that the place itself seemed outdated and in need of some TLC. The shower in the upper bathroom took a very long time to heat up and was very sensitive...and the shower head was low. The overall lighting in the house needed improvement as I found myself using my phone light to look for things in the bedroom a few times. The upper bathroom sink wasn't draining well at all. The kitchen could use more utensils. And there was no clear instruction on where to put the trash when it was full. I would stay here again as these things aren't deal breakers for me, but it would be great to see improvements in these areas.

Read the reviews

We had a great visit to Mammoth and enjoyed the location of this property. Having a pool and rec room on site is great and the location close to the Village and on the way to Mammoth Adventure Center and/or lakes is also a plus. We read the reviews before we arrived, so we knew that the property was dated, and this is accurate. Furniture is very old, carpets are completely worn in spots, lighting is dim in bedrooms. However, it was large enough for our two families, so that was really what we needed. Also, the property management company is very responsive and quickly helped with an empty propane tank and missing toaster. It worked for us and our older teens as we are out and about most of the day. Read the reviews and check the pics to help you decide. if it would be right for you.

Great location and comfortable, just needs some minor work

Pictures and description were accurate - the condo is quite dated inside but clean and comfortable and kid-friendly. But a bit of basic maintenance would go a long way - light bulbs are old and dim throughout, shower door doesn't slide well, toilets are old.

Run down and in need for upgrades

This property was old, dark and dingy. The furniture was so old we wondered if it had been cleaned ever. The carpet was shaggy and bare in places and one of the kids got a splinter from one of the bare spots. The water in the showers went from hot to cold constantly and I had to sit and regulate it for my son to take a shower. There were only 4 towels in the bathroom (for 10 people) and we had to share. There was only one dish towel, one roll of paper towels, no sponges. The children were not allowed on the balcony because the railing was extremely loose and we feared they’d lean on it and fall two stories. The beds were hard and lumpy. The pool was empty and we were allowed to go to snow creek athletic club instead but that was a drive so definitely inconvenient (we were never informed that this was the case and if we were we wouldn’t have stayed being that we had children in our group and many other places had pools). The only good thing about this uncomfortable experience was that the floor plan in the house is good for larger groups and it is centrally locates. That is it.
