Trickling waters is a beautiful, peaceful retreat nestled in the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The room was clean and well stocked. There is a fire pit and hot tub available for use. My only suggestion is that the room needs to be updated. The furniture and appliances are dated. However, we really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Great place to stay. From check-in to check -out, our needs were fully met. Owner was very friendly and should be proud of his retreat. Will definitely return when back in the area.

A hidden gem

It’s a very nice place. It’s quiet and the grounds landscape beautifully. Randy, the host is very accommodating. Our only regret is that we only had time to spend one night there.

Great Weekend Stay!

The room was great above the garage. It was clean, comfortable and private. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We pulled a boat in and parking would not accomodate it, but a neighbor offered up there drive and yard area to park the boat and we compensated them well for doing this. We would definitely stay again!

Hotter than normal I'm sure, but the AC could be a bit stronger. Kept the adjoining room cool, bedroom eventually cooled down. Overall a great location and price. Better than staying across the river in a chain hotel.

Much needed getaway

We found Trickling Waters very relaxing and enjoyable. There were many birds to watch and listen to. The location is very convenient to many sites to see. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

Solitude and quiet was nice. Beautiful landscaping and plants and flowers. Loved the fish pond and water fall. The rustic look of the pine lodge room we stayed in was great!
