Nonna Agata Suite with Living Room

In the oldest part of the house, dating back to the eighteenth century, there is the suite that belonged to the elegant noble woman Agata Montalto. The room, which after the restoration has regained its original appearance, is furnished with wooden furniture, adorned with a hand-embroidered curtain, has the original cement floors and the wooden ceiling. For the restoration of the bathroom, recovery elements were used which were laid according to traditional techniques. The large shower made with the Moroccan tadelakt technique is covered with Sicilian marble and ancient concrete bricks and is equipped with a comfortable bench for absolute relaxation. The living room with Sicilian marble floor is furnished with antique furniture, sofas and armchairs arranged around a fireplace with cast iron friezes. Both from the bedroom and from the living room you can access the veranda and the garden, full of native aromatic plants, palm trees and ancient oleanders.
