Villa Vesuvio is located on the hillside of the Sorrento coast, just 800 meters from the picturesque village of Sant'Agata. Recently renovated, this luxury villa combines ancient Italian furnishings with contemporary design and enjoys one of the most spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples to Vesuvius.
The villa is divided on 3 levels and can accommodate up to 10-12 people. It includes 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin / double bedroom, 2 double bedrooms with bunk beds, 1 double sofa bed and 5 bathrooms (2 of which are ensuite).
Built in volcanic stone (tufa) and architecturally designed and decorated, Villa Vesuvio is the ideal place for a group of families or friends looking for peace and tranquility in an authentic environment of southern Italy.
This magnificent independent villa is surrounded by 2000 square meters of lush Mediterranean gardens with olive groves and other plants typical of the area. There are two separate terraces at the upper and lower levels, and an above ground pool (5m x 8m) with level deck and a garden terrace with a semi-enclosed outdoor kitchen equipped with Argentine-style barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven.
Surrounded by lawns you will have ample opportunity to sit back and enjoy the sun of southern Italy or the view of Vesuvius from one of the three outdoor terraces while dining al fresco.
Villa Vesuvio is ideal for small or large groups, families or for those seeking space, luxury, comfort and tranquility in a Mediterranean environment, but still close to all the basic services and exclusive destinations such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri.

It is the ideal environment to sip a cocktail while enjoying the sunset over the Mediterranean. The large kitchen with island counter is fully equipped for the avid chef and includes a 6-burner gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the necessary cooking utensils. Position
Villa Vesuvio is located on the hill of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi and is only 800 m from the center of Sant'Agata, 10 km from Sorrento, 12 km from Positano and 7 km from Nerano, a fishing village famous for its beaches and fantastic fish restaurants.
There is much to enjoy within Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, including excellent shops and restaurants, the parish church, the Monastery of the Desert and various archaeological ruins. If you like walking, there are many paths along the coast and inland. The city is also an excellent center for numerous excursions in the Sorrento peninsula and beyond.
Nothing is too much for our guests. We can organize private transfers, an internal cleaning service, a personal chef or a Neapolitan pizza maker to prepare the most delicious local dishes with fresh organic products.

The House was good but worned out, many things didt work , the pool was dirty when we arrived and so on Trash pilled up doing the week , no midweek cleaning as announced Its nona luxury house as they announced it as , but a good normal house with great location I am not gonna use Gocce di Capri again as agent The House manager was very service minded and fast to fix things ,
Unfortunately, this property was not as described or an accurate representation of the photos provided via the VRBO App.1. The property is described as luxurious. The home was outfitted with old, broken, and discarded furniture. There were no patio umbrellas, pool lanterns, or shade âsailsâ as depicted online. 2. It was unclean, the stove was broken (host said it was a gas issue but even with a new tank it did not work), and we were left with a microwave and tea kettle and refrigerator. Our family could not prepare one meal on property.3. The âapartmentâ bedroom smelled of mildew, the sheets and towels were wet from the humidity, and we did not feel safe having anyone occupy it after the first night. The guest who stayed in that room on the first night was sick for the remainder of the trip.4. The AC unit in the main house does not work and never cooled off the main property. We ran in on setting â3â the entire time.5. The outdoor kitchen was a complete disaster. There was trash, broken furniture, junk, a cabinet full of trash, more broken chairs, and was completely unusable. The pics showed an outdoor pizza oven and chefs kitchen. It would have been a fire hazard to use any of the kitchen equipment or pizza oven.6. There was mold in the upstairs sink.7. There were infestations of ants in the kitchen, towels, even in the sheets.8. Power line on the upper deck was an electrical/shock hazard which made using the upstairs balcony unsafe for our children (see p
A wonderful and authentic Italian experience. Traveled with another family a little outside of Sorrento city. Accommodations were good and the pool a huge plus for the hot days. Kids loved it. Quick cab ride to food and
Beautiful Place!!! Great views - cool little town on top of a mountain!
This place is great - make sure you don't have a bigger car though, street is very tight.
A bit of a drive down into Sorrento but overall, I would stay here again in a minute!!!
Ciao!
Incredible property close to everything, truly relaxing place
The villa was incredible for our group of 10. Check in was simple and Mariano was great to interact with. They also arranged an at-home chef for our group (Josie) and she was absolutely amazing. The location was difficult to reach with a large car, but that is typical of Italian streets. There is plenty of parking at the villa for multiple small cars. Centrally located in the Sorrento peninsula so it is easy to get to all destinations. The villa itself was clean when we arrived, the pool was spotless as well.
