I booked a room with them for two times now and planning to come back there every time there's a need to visit Mati. The room is great. Clean, spacious and also the bed is very comfy. The owner is also very accomodating and nice. The location of the property is also good for me coz it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

For sure the staff are courteous and helpful. But upon check-in, they said I only had one room confirmed but Expedia confirmed and charged my credit card for 2 rooms. They fixed this after a few phone calls.. We stayed 2 nights and the water in the bathroom went dry a few times. They tried to explain the water shortage this summer, but my guests and I needed running water. Sigh. Maybe in our next visit they would have addressed their water supply problem.

In the middle of nowhere, and there was no on-site restaurant, which makes getting meals very difficult. And also not safe for a solo female traveller to get to the hotel.
The towels leave a smell on your fingers after drying on them, which is the smell of bacteria really. Bedsheets look a bit dodgy as there are hairs on them.
Booked 3 nights but checked out after just 1 night, as it was really inconvenient. The only lady managing the hotel was all alone, and the owners are living in Davao. She's friendly and helpful, but for foreigners, you are better off staying in town.

Posted May 19, 2018 on HotelsWe had problems with water. There was water to do anything. I came before and everything was prefect. This time around it didn't meet its expectations at all.

Poor Location
Posted Jan. 7, 2018 on ExpediaThe only reason we stayed was it wss very near my wifes relatives. The hotel is fine but on on an upaved road 1 km off the main road. Hotel appears to be struggling, we were the only guests.

Thank you for staying with us. To be precise sir the hotel is just almost 500 meters from the main road. Nonetheless, we are working with barangay officials to hopefully finish the road paving before the busy summer.
And we are not struggling but rather have not announced yet that we have reopened after all the room renovations and the construction of the new restobar across.

Not close to the beach, but in an unlit alleyway

The hotel is in an alleyway that is unlit.
The pic shows it like its lit but u have to walk through an unlit part to get there.
Mati is a safe place luckily.
Toilet seat broke and they didn't replace it.
Ants all over
Only cleaned when I asked and didn't sweep or mop.
Tried to charge me again even though I already paid using Expedia , Ruth said she couldn't see my Payne t. Tried to charge me extra for English breakfast vs Filipina which consisted of 2 pieces of toast instead of rice.
100 Php per day for that! No Way!
