Cozy Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub: A Relaxing New Mexico Getaway for Three
Two bedsâa comfortable queen and a cozy daybedâallow up to three guests to sleep easily in this warm and inviting cabin. The backyard features a private hot tub available from May through October, offering a perfect place to unwind beneath the open sky. You can also relax on your own covered porch, where peaceful mountain views create an authentic and memorable New Mexico experience. A cleaning fee of $35 applies to each stay, ensuring the cabin remains fresh and welcoming for every guest.
We enjoyed our stay and the cabin plus the campground were delightful. However, we booked this place primarily for the hot tub that was blatantly false advertised. Though it seems there is one, and why I was willing to pay the price I did, we were informed nonchalantly upon arrival that there is not a hot tub. Our host explained that it will be back in May but we wouldnât have known until we got the abrupt explanation upon arrival. Great place for a getaway and beautiful scenery. But please, be courteous to guests that are paying top dollar for a special engagement weekend that weâre counting on a promised amenity. THUMBS DOWN
The cabin was clean and well maintained. Check in was extremely easy and we had no real issues during our stay. Only slight complaint was that the cabin was filled with artwork that was for sale. This is ok and pretty common for the area. However, there were two pieces - one to the side of the main bed and one on the wall behind the bed that I had become slightly paranoid about as they were expensive yet easy to accidentally brush up against. It might be idea to move these just so that someone doesn't accidentally knock them down - especially the piece on the wall, behind the bed that could potentially hurt someone if the glass shattered.
Aside from this minor issue, the area was perfect and scenic. The campground was expensive and easy to navigate and there was a consistent presence of nature via deer and what I assume were wild turkies. Definitely looking forward to another visit in the future.
