We felt welcomed and cared for at the host’s little slice of Africa in Victor Harbour. Londolozi is immaculate, clean and adorned with innumerable animal themed artworks and sculptures in beautifully presented rooms and gardens.Breakfast was delicious, and our dog Nyx felt like a very lucky boy after tasting one our host’s homemade treats! We travelled from Sydney to Adelaide for a concert at Victor Harbour, and due to the popularity of the event, there were no other options available, so decided to look at options on Stayz. We were fortunate enough to find this listing and reached out to the property owner. Ro, the property owner, was very professional and responded to our enquiry in a timely manner and we were able to secure. Along the way, we had a few questions, and Ro was very quick to respond, which provided us with peace of mind. Upon arriving to the property, we were greeted with a smile and incredible hospitality. Ro's property is incredible and she has invested much of her time creating an amazing animal themed home. Definitely matches the description on Stayz. Beyond the property and fun theme, Ro is a warm, kind and friendly person, who went above and beyond for our group, including preparing a scrumptious breakfast that we enjoyed before we checked out the next morning. We had a wonderful stay at McCracken and thoroughly enjoyed the Ro's hospitality. We would happily return and stay, on our next opportunity, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone looking for a great experience.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay sharing the beautiful house with the lovely, generous host and her big fur baby. We had a great breakfast each morning and fresh towels every day. The house is in a very quiet area and close to all amenities and walking distance to a river walking trail.It's a very tastefully decorated clean and tidy house with a beautiful garden.

Ro was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and warm. The house is fantastic, the styling is great fun, exploring the Nic nats and the fantastic garden. She’s done a great job styling and you can tell she is passionate about it. Would recommend. Definitely beats a boring hotel!

Thankyou Ro for the wonderfull 3 night stay with our 15 year old dog Sammy. We throughly enjoyed our the cooked breakfast and fruit you prepared. The care you gave Sammy while we went out for tea one night and lunch the next day gave him a spoilt break as well. The Atmosphere of you home is a holiday we will always treasure. My wife Corinne and I were very impressed with our stay at Londolozi Lodge our host Ro could not have been more helpful and friendly. She made our stay something we will treasure. She kindly allowed us to celebrate 3 family members birthdays at her residence. This was a great day and we cannot thank Ro enough. The Lodge itself is a treasure to behold of African paintings ,furniture and statures. I recommend a visit a stay at this hosted property. Thank you Malcolm.

Had a relaxing African-style holiday in this quirky lodge without actually having to fly to Africa... Highly recommended for something a bit unusual in wonderful Victor Harbor! Hostess Ro was very gracious too...

We highly recommend this gorgeous house

We had a relaxing and lovely stay at this gorgeous house with our two teenage children. Rolanda was a fabulous & welcoming hostess, and her beautiful dog Kutu was very gentle with our tiny toy poodle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away and relax with or without their pet. Breakfast we delicious. Thanks so much for making us feel at home.

Beautiful Place

The theme is beautiful African animals, statues , fountains, paintings, even napkin rings? all facilities great, quiet location. Attentive host Ro cooks a mean omelette. Great walks nearby along the Hindmarsh river. We had a delightful stay.

Out of Africa

Amazing African design features, African artefacts and generous welcome. As a bed and breakfast we were given all of upstairs to ourselves, and extremely generous freedom of use for most of the rest of the house. Our daughter joined us and we were able to pay for an extra room. Ro was a remarkable host. Offering a beautiful shirt and a package of CDs as well as an amazing meal for brekky. Remarkably hospitable! Ro and her aunt Wendy who lives across the golf course the property adjoins worked on brekky. The place is on two building blocks in the suburb, but it seems to be a whole different world. The golf course extends out behind, and at times there is a small what you might call waterhole there, but it was dried up at the moment... again the waterholes drying up in Africa came to mind. The gardens were fantastic. The African theme predominates. We were amazed on the one night we srayed at the use of solar powered lighting in the garden to highlight so many of the features. There is an outdoor bar area that was very African. Inside lighting was also remarkable. It was like a whole new world. This was a gift from family, and a new experience for us. We enjoyed the place immensely, and appreciated the care Ro showed. We understand some of her profits go to supporting African projects and conservation.
