The historical centre of Pula has several very interesting monuments like the amphitheatre and there are some nice restaurants and shops. Additionally, towns like Porec (51 km) and Rovinj (30 km) are really recommended and a cycling trip through Istria's beautiful interior should certainly not be skipped.
