My family stayed here for 4 weeks and we really like this subdivision (this is our 3rd year vacationing here). The home was as advertised but there were a few small details that future renters may want to be aware of. Our group found the beds to be uncomfortable and some were disappointed that there were not televisions in the bedrooms (1 tv in the lower level living room and 1 in the upper level fanily room). We ran into some issues with the house and the hosts responded within a few hours. We appreciated being able to use the garage space but it is inconvenient that there is no grill (there IS a grill at the house but the lid is locked closed). We paid extra for the pool heater for the length of our stay but it was unreliable at best. The host explained that the heater will freeze up when the outside temps drop and will need time to be defrost which can't happen until the outside temps raise, but the only reason we wanted pool heat was so we could use the pool even on cooler days. Unfortunately, we felt that paying extra for pool heat was a waste of our money. The home is nicely decorated and it suited our needs for our long stay. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, plates, cups, and such which was great. We really like staying at Harbor Island Beach Club. The beach access is a very easy walk (even for our 6 and 3 year old) and it's nice to be slightly south of the hussle and bussle of town.
