Worst experience at this price point. Do not stay

We chose this over the Raddison Blu which had similar ratings and price point. We booked for five nights, but cancelled after the first night and moved to the Raddison Blu. Why? This hotel bills itself as 5 star, but it is anything but. The rating is from 2005. The beach facilities and pool are beautiful, but the service is rude and combative, and "all-inclusive" is anything but. Meals are available in the dining room and beer and wine are available. - We had two Tunisians in a large group of foreigners in D'Jerba for a wedding. One of the dining room staff got in a verbal altercation with one of the Tunisians because a group of four pushed two tables together for dinner (see picture). The rest of our group pushed five tables together with no issue. We went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager who refused to speak with us. - It was a normal hot summer day and the air conditioning was not sufficient to cool either the hotel or the rooms. At 10:30PM, our room was over 85F/29F. We called the front desk and the A/C technician came two hours later. He charged the system with A/C and we woke up to a huge puddle of water on the floor. - The wine is the cheapest Tunisian wine available and is pretty terrible. You can order better Tunisian wines, but they charge per bottle twice what you can buy for in the local market. If you are in a group, they will not serve a bottle. The dining room does not have enough water or coffee cups. AM Wait staff rude

Solo female travelers get harassed non stop by the staff to a point I had someone finding me on social media after looking at my name on the check in papers. They don’t speak English, all they do is smile without understanding a word you say and the gym was the dirtiest gym I’ve ever seen. Also, the place is for older couples only so going alone is extremely boring. My trip to Djerba was almost ruined because of this hotel as I booked a tour around the island and the person booked me a tour with a person who doesn’t speak any English. Total waste of my time and I could not explore the island as I could not find a last minute tour. The check in took four hours and communicating with them on their email is a waste of time! I tried multiple times to communicate so they would know about my early check in and late check out! None of it was done. The all inclusive thing isn’t for all of their restaurants and the hotel does not look like a 5 star at all! At least not to me. I would never stay in this place again.
