The staff was very friendly. We loved the antiquity odd of the place. We also had a room in the back, so it wasn’t noisy. We slept well. Is not a 5 start hotel, but it sure was nice.

Scam of a hotel

When we arrived we had to pay a check in fee of $100 (which they give back at check out). There's no problem paying the fee/deposit BUT I would've loved for them to have been a little more clear on their website regarding this. ALSO, we had to pay an EXTRA $80 (NON-REFUNDABLE) for 2 day parking. I want to add that they have a very small parking lot behind the hotel in an alleyway & they keep your keys throughout your entire stay. Their website says "parking included" but they miss the part that you have to pay a butload for. Their elevator was out of service. The lobby was hot & humid. The hotel room was VERY hot, no thermostat whatsover, we had to adjust to the condition that the place was in which was in shambles. There was a cockroach in our bathroom crawling around AND the walls were paper thin, I could hear everyone and everything in that hotel. This honestly has been the worse "hotel" I've stayed at. The reality did not meet the expectations and the pretty aesthetic they paint to have online.

I paid for valet parking which is a separate company from the hotel and I had to park my car every time and pull it out as well ballet was never to be found so I paid $120 to park my own car. The location is amazing The beach is right across the street. They need to upgrade their TV channel system and it would have been nice to have a microwave in the building. The room was amazing I really enjoyed my stay I just did not like the valley issue. I will return again.

Nice hotel, right by the beach. Front desk staff was very nice. Its cold in the building but you can get a very nice warm blanket at the front desk. Enjoyed my stay in a comfortable room!

Pros - Room was clean and comfortable. Temp feel was hitting 110 outside and AC on my floor was ice cold (like a meat locker) which felt amazing. I couldn't find a way to control the temp in the room but it felt so good I didn't care. Hotel is beautiful. Cons - Staff was pretty rude to indifferent. Fine print is if you stay only one night you have to pay $100 deposit. Elevator was broken. Costs $40 to park overnight even if you are staying with them. Parking wasn't explained well at check in and I had to go searching for the parking guy to get my keys to find out they were at the front desk. No vending or water so make sure you bring drinks with you.
