The front desk, pools and outdoor areas are very nice. The housekeeping was horrible. Nobody came to clean our room and after two days I had to call to request. Even when they came, it was very quick. The floors weren’t cleaned for five days and our feet were black by the time we left. The room was full of sand. They didn’t even come to collect the dirty towels or give us new ones and we had to call down for paper towel. There was dust on the floorboards and lamps. For the money we paid I was expecting the rooms to be cleaner. The seagulls on the beach were crazy. Very aggressive. They were stealing food and not afraid of humans. One came so close to me i felt the wings and feet graze my head! Another bird stole my sunscreen thinking it was food.

On the upside staff was pleasant and helpful, there were just not nearly enough of them around. There was seldom staff at the upstairs adult pool and guests regularly brought their children to the adult area. Additionally, there were children running through the lobby, unsupervised by parents or checked by staff. The facility was well maintained but dated. It was not the most expensive hotel in the area but for 800+/night, I expected more.

Staff is awful. So poorly trained. They didn’t clean our room for 2 days and even then I had to beg. The front desk blamed guests for “over using the bathroom” by the lobby. No accountability. Middle elevator has been broken for 2 years +. Great location and nice hotel but the poor service just isn’t worth it.

Room not made up every day. Had to call. Two elevators work, often takes 8-10 mins to go up or down. Short staffed at lobby desk, housekeeping. Such poor experience for the basics of such an expensive hotel. Requested a manager to speak to “one would get back to us” and “noted housekeeping issue” in my file. It used to be a lovely hotel

I was very unhappy with my experience this time around our rooms were not cleaned one day. They cleaned our room at 6 PM when I asked them to change my sheets. They said it wasn’t possible. I got really frustrated. I offered them a tip and then all of a sudden there were sheets. The service was terrible
