Bob's Place - Beach views for miles!

We believe that Bob's Place is the best situated house on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula! Located right on Middleton Point with 180 degree views, this is the perfect location for surfing, whale watching and exploring the fabulous surrounding area on the South Coast.

Recently and lovingly brought back to life, this cozy and comfy beachhouse has been in our family for over 30 years and we are looking forward to sharing it with our guests.

Bob's Place is designed to be a cozy cottage and we've organised it so it's as comfortable as possible - all you need to do is sit back and relax and enjoy the view
.We hope you agree that the view from the lounge and front deck is the absolute best!

There are three bedrooms available with one shower and two toilets. Although the house sleeps 8 we feel it's more comfortable for 6 people only.

There are two reverse cycle air conditioners - in bedrooms 1 and 2 plus ceiling fans in all rooms also.

Please be aware you will need to bring all your own linen, including towels, bed sheets and duvet/doona covers and pillow cases. If you wish you can arrange linen to be delivered prior to your arrival by calling Sea Breeze Services on 08 7522 4917.
Duvet/doonas and pillows are supplied.

One of the best beaches on the South Coast, Middleton is the go-to place for your next family getaway or surfing safari. For families, nearby beaches at Goolwa, Horseshoe Bay are the best for toddlers and teens alike. Middleton Beach is perfect for beginner to advanced surfers.

There are lots of things to do in the local beachside towns of Port Elliot, Victor Harbor and Goolwa as well as surrounding areas on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Great views, comfortable accommodation

The views were amazing, especially with the wet and windy conditions, with surfers looking like seals in the water. The hosts are just lovely and dealt with a small issue promptly and professionally. I just need to add that the shower and the slope to the back door are difficult if you have mobility issues but the beds are comfortable and there are books and games available for a cosy afternoon it is cold outside.

Great fun with grandkids

Perfect location to tip onto the beach with small grandchildren. We saw whales from the front yard, so lucky, and with bunnies to spot and plenty of space to run around, it was great. Will be back. 😊

Absolutely fantastic location

Bob's Place at Middleton was a very neat, tidy house with extremely comfortable furnishings . Warm, cosy and central to several nearby towns. Spotting whales was an added bonus. We absolutely loved it and would stay again.

Whale watching

Beautiful spot, thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch whale and surf watching. Only negative would be that the TV is in the main bedroom and not in the lounge room - therefore night time TV viewing was very uncomfortable.

Christmas escape

After a crazy year, we needed some beach therapy (waves, sea air, amazing views) and this place was perfect. The bed was super comfy, the shower hot with great pressure and everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of crockery and kitchen stuff provided to assist with Christmas lunch and comfy couches for the after lunch snooze. Very hard to pack up and come back to reality.

Beach bungalow stay

Lovely views and old world charm. Easy access to bike way and constant surfers out to watch. Lovely sweeping lawn out the front too. Hot water service a bit small as not able to cope with 2showers but still had a lovely time there.
