This cute apartment is centrally located 1 block from Missoula's river-front trails, 3 blocks from downtown & the University of Montana campus, convenient to the I-90 interstate exchange, and within an easy walk to Missoula's best coffee shops, restaurants, theaters, and music venues.

We like that we don't have to drive to hike - our neighborhood is at the confluence of the North Hills, Clark Fork River, Crazy Canyon, Mount Sentinel, and Mount Jumbo trail systems - or to fish - we're just off the confluence of Rattlesnake Creek and the Clark Fork River where the native cutthroat congregate. We are an easy walk over either of the two pedestrian footbridges, a short river stroll to happy hour or concerts at the Top Hat & Wilma, and a (too!) close for a cone of ice cream at either Big Dipper or Sweet Peaks. This location also boasts spectacular views of Mount Jumbo, Mount Sentinel, and the Hellgate Canyon.

This apartment is part of a duplex - we live upstairs and are available for advice about what to do and where to go. If you decide to book this property, you will enter through the main door that leads to a small entry way. Our door is on the left and yours is on the right. This keeps it easy should you have any questions or concerns.

The Jefferson House is perfect to a quick walk to downtown Missoula. When I come to visit my daughter I stay here. This stay was my 4th time. Clean and had everything I needed.

Meg, my host stood out as a warm, welcoming, very nice person. She was always available when I needed help. Very responsive and flexible too.The apartment was lovely. It had warmth and plenty of amenities. Walkable and used as a base to do all things Missoula in older part of town. Loved my stay!

The apartment was exactly what we needed. Clean, tidy, comfortable, well appointed. Very convenient to the school, groceries, coffee and restaurants. Bed was super comfortable, and the shower was awesome! Great water pressure, and hot water almost immediately.

Overall this was not a relaxing stay. Overall it is a cute property when you first walk in the door. They advertised it as a small unit... and it is. However, we thought it would be ok for a Mother/Daughter. After a long days drive to get there, a quiet relaxing evening was needed. However this was not to be. The TV can barely be seen from the couch (it wont pivot at the wall) . The neighbors were very noisy.... as in really loud. Like... the tv can be heard through the walls, the sounds of mom yelling at the kid(s) could be constantly heard, the sounds of the toilet flushing, the front door slamming and shaking the walls. The lights over the breakfast bar shook and swayed from the vibrations from running footsteps above. I realize it was one of the warmer days in Missoula and the unit doesn't have AC, but it really needed it. The fan provided has a timer on it causing it to stop in the middle of the night making things very uncomfortable. Opening windows is not really the answer since there is an operating railyard across the street. I guess with all things renter beware.

Missoula Charm!

I enjoyed my stay! The property was well-appointed and decorated for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. Thoughtful attention to detail was evident throughout. Location was great, walking to Farmers Market and downtown was easy and fun. I definitely hope to book again next summer!

Great spot for 1-2 exploring Missoula

I was in Missoula for a week of work, skiing at Seeley Lake (highly recommended), and exploring town. I really enjoyed my stay, clean apartment with plenty of room for 1-2. Fantastic bakery around the corner (Grist). It is located near an active train yard, but seemed part of the western charm.

Property is nice, clean and well appointed. However, property is advertised as a duplex which I assumed meant side by side living quarters. Nope, host is upstairs with a rambunctious child that partied well into the evening. I also did not expect heavy feet at 6am in the morning.
