Alvaro's House

Alvaro's House is a prestigious, historic residence located in the heart of Modena, just a stone's throw from the Ghirlandina, and has recently been completely renovated. It is situated in a prestigious stately home. You enter through a spacious foyer into the living room, which measures over 40 square metres. You’ll be greeted by original 17th-century frescoes. You’ll also find a state-of-the-art kitchen, equipped with all the latest appliances, offering a unique view directly across from the Ghirlandina.
Alvaro’s House offers heating and air conditioning, walnut parquet flooring, two bedrooms—one of which overlooks the Church of Sant’Agostino—and a spacious bathroom; original stained-glass windows, and many original 19th-century furnishings.

My son and his family stayed there. Very convenient to restaurants and the train station. A/C worked well, beds were comfortable. Not too far from Orfeo's house, where we stayed.

Alvaro's house was amazing and very clean. The attention and help he provided to my family and me was outstanding. We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed a few more days. The city of Modena is beautiful, I fell in love with both Alvaro's house and the city. Everything was absolutely wonderful!
