Gary, We realize you are not pleased with our 24 hour cancelation policy and no refunds on same day reservations. It is unfortunate that you were not able to fulfill your reservation and did not stay with us.

This was our first time staying here and we loved it! The continental breakfast was great. Amenities were excellent. Rooms are nice sized, clean, and have everything we would want or need to use while staying there. We give this hotel a 5 star rating, highly recommend this place and will stay here again next time we travel this way.
The owner is friendly, personable and we enjoyed a nice visit with her.

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate the great rating and feedback! We always hope our breakfast offerings of muffins/pastries, 3 cold cereals, flavored instant oatmeals, toast w/ pb&j, coffee, tea, milk and 2 juices are a good variety for most guests to get their day started. We do point folks to the local family restaurant, just down the block from us, if they are looking for more options for a full hot breakfast.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. They accommodated my need for a first-floor room at the last minute. When our TV didn't work, the lady from the desk came right down and fixed it, very cheerfuly and helpfully.
The property is a bit dated, admittedly, and I guess they're updating it one feature at a time. Two items: 1. The mattress on our bed seemed a bit old and starting to get bumpy--may need replacing. 2. The bathrooms really really need safety bars, especially by the tub. Otherwise, OK. I appreciated that there were enough electrical outlets to plug in chargers and c-pap. The property seemed quite quiet and in a convenient location for us.

We have recently started the process of phasing out mattresses each year :) also, we do have handicap accessible rooms with all the bars by tub, toilet, etc - unfortunately that room type may not have been available when you made your reservation.
