The pictures look great of this property and that is why we booked.
Communication was with The Happy rental rep. Upon arrival we found the keybox and there was 5 unmarked keys so you had to guess which was for each door. Steep narrow steps with low head room to the floor where apartment was. We knew this but if you are tall and have large suitcases certainly not ideal.
Initial inspection looked good although a bit smaller than the photos suggested. The bathroom entrance was tiny and so was the shower cubicle. There were no shelves in the shower which meant you had to try and bend down to the floor to pick up products.
Two TVs in property....one didnt work and the other the cable was already broken.
Wifi wasnt working at all.
No instructions for Hob and couldnt get it to work.
Relayed these problems to the rep who said she would get back to me in the afternoon. Heard nothing.
I messaged again the next day.......wasnt happy as i couldnt make a whatsapp call to my sick dad due to no wifi.
They eventually came out after a day and half to sort things. Wifi sorted, one tv taken away and instructions left for hob.
Tennant shouldnt have to chase these things and final checks were obviously not done prior to renting.
They left us 2 bottles of wine but guess what.....a broken corkscrew so you couldnt actually get into the bottle.
If attention to detail was adhered to it could be a good place.
Neighbourhood fairly noisy in evening and night. Aircon was good. Mattress very firm.
