Villa Etra is an elegant and welcoming two-story villa in the characteristic style of the Tuscan countryside. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Etra you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the Tuscan hills and of the greenery. Villa Etra is 240 square meters (2600 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private terrace, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 4 km (2.5 miles) from the center of Monterchi, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will reach Villa Etra from the parking area going up a short route that cuts through the garden and includes approximately two stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Etra you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space.

Villa Etra has been converted from an ancient watchtower, built around the first half of 1600 by Ferdinando II de' Medici.


Villa Etra overlooks the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan hills and offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful garden and relax in the swimming-pool.


As guests of  Villa Etra, you will be greeted by a welcome dinner, you will have the opportunity to take a tour of the valley and to participate in a wine tasting.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers, a gazebo and an external shower, and it is partly shaded by tall trees. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the greenery. The pool is open from the end of April until mid-October.
Patio
The patio is 7 square meters (75 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a gazebo. It is equipped with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a charming view of the garden.
Garden
The garden is 3500 square meters (37700 square feet). It is partly shaded by perfumed olive and lemon trees. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a swing. In the garden you will find a children's playground. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the valley and of the greenery.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
You will be able to enter the first living room from the kitchen. The floor is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include a sofa and two armchairs. There is an age-old and impressive fireplace made of stone. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and a CD player. The room has three windows with a view of the garden.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the first living room. The furnishings include a leather sofa and two armchairs. The room has two windows with a view of the garden.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the second living room. It is very well equipped, with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the small patio with a view of the garden. The room also has a window with a view of the garden.
First FloorBedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the garden, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the garden, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through a corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has two windows with a view of the garden, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom through a corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). Roof LevelTerrace
The terrace is 8 square meters (86 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the fifth bedroom climbing 12 steps. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the valley and of the greenery. AnnexBedroom 5 - a suite with en-suite bathroom
This suite is made up by three interconnected rooms: a sleeping area, a sitting area and a bathroom. You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom through an external access. The bedroom has a wooden matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), located on the mezzanine level. The furnishings include a small wickerwork sofa and an armchair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the garden through a French door. The room also has a small window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.
