“La Senesina” is an enchanting apartment immersed in the exquisitely beautiful Tuscan countryside, just 4 km from Siena, 8 km from Monteriggioni, and approximately 5 km from the raccordo autostradale Siena/Firenze (Siena/Florence highway.) Recently restored apartment situated in an historic 16th Century ex-convent, whose significance is recognized by the Department of Monuments and Fine Arts of Siena. Furnished with great care down to the finest detail, ideal for a romantic weekend or a pleasant week with family immersed in art and nature. In the immediate vicinity there are walking/trekking trails (see Cai maps) and horseback riding facilities.

Aappartement remarquable: trÚs beau, trÚs confortable, rénovation remarquable.

Le lieu Ă©tait difficile Ă  trouver, malgrĂ© notre GPS, mais la situation est magnifique. On est au cƓur du paysage toscan, et content de ne pas ĂȘtre dans Sienne, car il trop pĂ©nible d'utiliser la voiture dans cette ville historique. Ainsi nous avons pu circuler dans toute la rĂ©gion sans avoir Ă  entrer et sortir tous les jours de la ville. De plus, ce lieu nichĂ© dans les collines verdoyantes respire le calme et la douceur. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans l'appartement pour ĂȘtre Ă  l'aise (en cherchant bien on n'y trouve pas de dĂ©fauts, sauf peut-ĂȘtre qu'il manque de petites assiettes, et quelques grandes assiettes de plus seraient utiles si l'on veut utiliser la machine Ă  laver la vaisselle). Le propriĂ©taire nous a donnĂ© d'excellents conseils pour explorer la rĂ©gion. Un restaurant Ă  1 km propose des plats toscans authentiques, Ă  un prix trĂšs raisonnable. Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour Ă  la Senesina; le prix est trĂšs raisonnable; nous recommandons sans hĂ©sitation cet appartement Ă  tous ceux qui souhaitent connaĂźtre la rĂ©gion de Sienne.

Great Place and super nice Host. Location is very nice, top equiped and located only a couple of minutes away from Siena. Host is a really nice Person that has super good ideas where to go, in turism and wine/food matters. Really loved our stay (me and my Kids 14years), definitely come back. Highly recommended

Trip to Tuscany

We spent four nights here and used this as a base for Sienna, Chianti, and other cities in the area. The place was just as described in the VRBO and we loved it. They even provided extras to get us started like milk, coffee, juice and other items which made our evening much nicer. The beds were very comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is the GPS may give you a different city than Sienna but follow it be because it’s right. And the night sky is amazing. Be ready for country quiet and the rooster waking you up. We enjoyed this. It is a quick drive to multiple destinations but you will need to drive to dinner or breakfast if not cooking in, but again, the relaxing away from it all was worth it for us. We would recommend this place. Lots of parking and very easy communication.

This was such a wonderful place and exactly what we were looking for. It is located in quiet beautiful surroundings and close enough to visit Siena and other attractions. Andrea was very friendly and was a wealth of information. For dinner, there is a restaurant a couple of minutes drive away and the food is excellent. There really is nothing that we would have changed.

Our only glitch was our inability to follow the directions accurately to check-in!! But that little miss did absolutely nothing to spoil the professionalism and geniality that characterized my rental experience of this delightful property. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and uniquely positioned. It was an ideal location for us from which to easily explore (by car) a variety of Tuscan towns, and as others have said before us, it was a space of serenity to return to after a day’s hiking or touring.
