Staff excellent. Breakfast same as continental. Toast, bagel and/or cereal. NO ELEVATORS. That means u bring your luggage no matter what size up the 4th floor if that’s your room. The picture on this website must be a professional with lighting etc. does not appear like this. Room is clean but carpets filthy. The bed has a pit imprint of how many people have slept on it. Change the mattress for heavens sake ! Some of the plugs do not work. It is a good location. My back is killing me. Quiet environment. Bed squeaks with EVERY move. If you fart it will squeak. Not a place for me to stay. Chinatown is down the street.

THIS HOTEL IS A DISABLED PERSON'S NIGHTMARE. STAIRS EVERYWHERE, NO ELEVATORS, INACCESSIBLE ROOMS FOR ANYONE IN A WHEELCHAIR, AND NARROW HALLWAYS. Beyond that, the parking situation is mediocre - there is no room, for instance, for a handicap-equipped vehicle (even if someone who was disabled could stay there, which they can't). Worse - the rooms are old, poorly maintained, and just not very welcoming. The beds are fine... comfortable even, but the bathrooms are nightmares for anyone who isn't mobile or is on crutches. The rooms have no printed materials. NOTHING. No restaurant guides, no guides to hotel services, no phone books.... nothing. They have tourist brochures, but only in French, and only one map, which doesn't help. They don't have guides to "Le Metro" - the subway system and you're basically on your own to figure it out. As for the breakfasts.... awful. The mixed fruit that they served the two days I was there (10/11 and 10/12), was on the verge of going bad. It had a bitter taint to it and was awful. They had one bowl of plain yogurt of unknown origin that was anything but sanitary. There were plain bagels, but no machine to toast them in... and the bagels were basically the only bread option. They served plain, cold slices of what looked like industrial ham along with some slices of plain cheddar cheese (very unappealing), and nothing hot (no sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs). Avoid this hotel!!!

The hotel is okay overall, but there’s no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. Parking costs $40 per day, which feels a bit expensive. The room wasn’t very clean—I even found some spider webs on the floor. The breakfast selection is very limited, and if your room is facing the street, it can get quite noisy at night.
