14. Smoke Alarms & Fire Safety đš Smoke alarms are essential safety devices and must not be disabled, covered, removed, or tampered with for any reason. This includes removing batteries, covering alarms to prevent activation, or interfering with them in any way.
Any tampering, misuse causing a false alarm, or intentional disabling of a smoke alarm will result in a $500 penalty, plus any additional costs incurred (including building fines, fire department charges, or maintenance repairs). Continued violations may lead to immediate termination of the stay without refund, in line with house rules and platform policies.

Floors were not clean and felt very grimy (perhaps a new cleaning company can fix this for future guests), plug outlets pulled from wall with exposed chords, the stairs are dangerous and some steps flip up several inches when walking up, air quality just felt stuffy in the house. Sore backs for everyone. I think if fixed up, cleaned well and maybe some memory foam on the beds with softer pillows, it would be a fine place for this price but until the owner confirms that this has/will happened, I wouldn't come back.
