Escape to the heel of Italy and this airy studio apartment, Complesso Azzurro Studio which is just a 6-minute walk from the beach. The ground floor studio sleeps up to 3 people and is the ideal base for friends or a couple who want to enjoy some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches.

The apartment is accessed via a short flight of stairs that lead down from the main entrance to a private terrace. Here guests can enjoy meals al fresco at the dining table. The interior of the house is simply furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The open-plan living space includes a sofa, with a TV and a dining table and chairs. The fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, Moka coffee maker and fridge/freezer.

The residence has an outside shower, ideal after a day on the beach, and a communal living space with a dining area and BBQ.

There are two single beds to the side of the living space, plus the sofa converts into a single bed.

Bathroom
The bathroom is appointed with a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The apartment is in the heart of Torre Vado, just a short walk from the beach. This stretch of coast is known for its wide, sandy beaches which slope gently into the Ionian Sea making them ideal for children and older visitors. The town has several good restaurants which serve the freshest seafood and local wines. Salve Marina is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment and makes a wonderful destination for a sunset stroll.,

Torre Vado is 15 minutes from the town of Santa Maria di Leuca, at the southern tip of the Salento peninsula. The seafront is known for its lovely villas and elegant buildings whilst the Lungomare Cristofo Colombo is home to many tempting shops. There is also the 18th-century church of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae which is at the very tip of Italy’s heel.

The historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.

The closest airport is at Brindisi, a 1 hour and 25 minute drive.
