Thereâs a working harbour, a pretty marina and a sandy beach to enjoy, just a short walk from this end terraced property.
A popular Sunday market on the harbour provides a great morning out. Youâll find a super little fish restaurant hidden behind the lifeboat house, and an award-winning ice cream parlour. Coquet Island is a designated RSPB protected bird sanctuary home to some 30,000 puffins, which can be seen on the puffin cruises that depart from Amble. Just two miles away is the picture-perfect village of Warkworth with its hillside castle, pubs, shops and scenic walks along the banks of the river. Young witches and wizards are drawn to Alnwick Castle, which featured in the Harry Potter films. You can also visit the impressive water gardens and the worldâs largest treehouse-turned restaurant whilst youâre there.
Characterised by vast golden stretches, pristine bays and rolling sand dunes, itâs little wonder why the coastline north of Amble was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Heritage Coastline offers plenty of cycle and footpaths for outdoorsy types of holidaymakers. Truly, Island View is a great location for exploring the whole of this unspoilt county with all necessary amenities right on your doorstep.

been before and all what you need is there, excellent large fridge.
been before and all what you need is there, excellent large fridge. Comfortable beds. Some parts around the house are looking a little tired now and could do with an overall to bring back to full tip top condition

Stunning property with an amazing view.
Stunning property with an amazing view. Would highly recommend Island View to anyone, dog friendly and neighbours are very welcoming and friendly. Lovely walk down to the harbour with some quaint shops again welcoming and I would highly recommend The Harbour Inn for a meal, again dog friendly either in the bar or the beer garden. You don't need to take any towels or linens to Island View this is all provided, beautiful bathroom with free standing bath and a shower with a shower room downstairs. There were a couple of issues I contacted the company about nothing major just wanted them to be rectified for the next occupants. If you are looking for somewhere to stay which is a home from home Island View is the place to stay.
