Spotless budget hotel <10min from the station

The staff were faultlessly helpful (with great English if/when needed) and the place is everything you need it to be - reasonably sized rooms, alright beds, and very clean - at a very fair price. The breakfast won't knock you out but totally par for the budget European hotel course really. The area, to the west of the station on the south side of the tracks is a bit seedy - lots of casinos and adult entertainment - but we never felt unsafe at all and practically every other building is a hotel, including some of the nicer chains (a bit closer to the station), so you're in plenty of company.

Staff were very helpful. Room very clean but basic . It really required better curtains of the blackout variety. Breakfast excellent! Generally,good value and well positioned.

Good, clean place to stay

The room was a bit bigger than most European rooms. Bathroom was modern and had a big tub. Rooms have private balconies, which we enjoyed every day. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly. It's about a 25-30 minute walk from Munich's city center, but an easy walk. And 10-15 minutes walk to the train station. Great breakfast! No complaints.

Munich- short stay - stop over

Excellent choice, close to main railway station,plenty of good and not so good eating places within a short walk. Main tram stop just around the corner.Best pub for reasonable priced meals,good quality food and friendly staff just around corner on main street,brown front with lanterns outside'{forgot name}.

Good hotel

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. When we arrived, we were given a smoking room, although we asked for non-smoking room when we booked the hotel. We asked for a change and were moved to another room on the next day. After being moved from the first room we were in, our stay was more enjoyable. The location is quite convenient as it close to the station.

Convenient cheap hotel

Nice hotel, close to main train station so very convenient. Room very warm so you will need your window open. is on main road so can be an issue with road noise up until midnight.

Ideal for a short city break

The hotel is ideal for a short city break. Only a 5 minute walk from the main train station and about 10 minutes away from Marienplatz. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I have marked the room comfort down as there is no air conditioning and we just happened to visit in the middle of a mini-heatwave. The rooms would also benefit from the installation of a safe, however valuables can be securely left at the front desk.

Great boutique hotel in Munich

Very much enjoyed our stay here,,,close to public transportation as we did not have a car. Happened that it was extremely warm temperatures and as there was no air conditioning (a small fan was provided) it was a bit on the warm side. No problem with this during the day time as there were many windows and our room had a lovely terrace five floors up overlooking the Oktoberfest Park but at night we had to close the windows to deaden the street sounds. I think we did have the best room in the hotel with this lovely large terrace and ample windows! Also the hotel served up probably the best European breakfast we've ever eaten (and we have tried a few!)..that in itself was worth the stay!!

Conveniently located

This hotel is very conveniently located for the station, city centre and the Octoberfest. Reception was good and staff very helpful. Could not wish for more at the price. WiFi connection not the best however.
