Outdoor Pool Heating Policy:
- Pool Temperature | Heating temperature could vary up to 26 °C subject to the outdoor weather conditions.
- Preferred Months | Pool heating is typically used during the months March - Mid June & October, November.
- Advance Notice | 2 days’ notice prior arrival is mandatory for the pool to reach the optimal temperature.
- Additional Fees | 80€ /day for the first two days & 40€ /every additional day.
- Booking Duration | Pool heating is exclusively bookable for the entire stay, at the cumulative cost as outlined above.

Fantastic villa in beautiful setting

The Villa is beautifully located, overlooking countryside. The pool was a really good size and enjoyed by all the family. It was great having the outside kitchen, table and barbecue located next to the pool too. We particularly enjoyed the evening sunset, while cooking food and the kids having a swim. Xenia was very helpful and we received a very warm welcome. There was food in the fridge and a bottle of wine on arrival. Kampas Taverna is fantastic - and a one minute walk from the house. It has a very warm and relaxed atmosphere and great food. We enjoyed trips to beaches in the north and south, as well as visits to local towns and villages. We mostly stayed away from the larger beaches and enjoyed exploring some of the smaller and quieter beaches. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.

Kampos Villa II

We had a great stay in Kampos Villa II. The owner Xenia is a lovely host. They live nearby and run the taverna which is close to the house. Having dinner or breakfast in the garden of the taverna is great. The house is located in the countryside with literally thousands of olive trees around. By car it's a 10-15 minutes ride to the closest beaches. We can recommend Spilies Beach which consists of small pebbles and encircled by cliffs. The villa is built on a steep slope above the road crossing the village of Achlades. That means there is a great view into the countryside from each level of the house and pool. The villa is spacious, accomodated four adults and five kids easily, is fully equipped, clean and modern. Highlight, of course, is the pool which guarantees refreshment. Air condition in each bedroom and the main living room is also highly welcome in the summertime. We spend great holidays there!

Excellent Villa. Would recommend.

We rented this property through Valia at Think villa. Can’t recommend Valia and her team enough. Communication through out the last three years has been second to none. Had to cancel twice due to covid but we made it in the end. We were a family of eight, six adults and two young children. Great villa with a fab pool and lovely views. Children loved the shared play area. Lovely little restaurant run by the owners minutes from the villa. Very reasonably priced and good food. (Pay for two meals and get one free is a specific menu and needs to be pre booked) Even a play area for the children while you eat. They even got bikes out for our girls to ride! Best supermarkets were Lidl in Rethymno for a big shop or the supermarket in Panormos. Our only comments and not to be seen as a criticism as we had a fab time and didn’t want to leave would be more chairs at the outside table, it only has six and a shade on the patio eating area would just make it perfect. Some additional mugs and children’s plates, cups, etc would be a great addition to what is a lovely villa. Thank you.

A Cretan haven to relax

We had such a great time at this villa even if the weather wasn’t great. The location is beautiful overlooking olive groves. The landlady was so helpful, with a wonderful welcome hamper on arrival. The place was spotless and was a home away from home with everything you would need. The communal areas and pool were cleaned daily so the place always looked super clean. The pool was lovely too. The landlady owns a taverna 50 metres away with great food and amazing service. The added touches of fresh food in the fridge, fresh flowers, bikes, ping pong table , good WiFi throughout and a smart tv made it extra special. And to top it all off, a going away present with fresh homemade goods. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to visit again. The location is about 10 min drive to the beach and shops so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the scenery.

Fabulous Villa

The villa was fabulous, the people friendly and any issue was sorted out immediately. If you want a very quiet stay then this is the place. Car is essential. The villa would have benefited from an additional ensuite off the larger bedroom upstairs. We were two families totalling 7 so one family had the bathroom downstairs, but that still left 4 of us using one bathroom upstairs to get ready so an ensuite would have been perfect. Overall though a lovely two weeks.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Die Fotos versprechen nicht zu viel. Der Service ist wirklich super. Vom Pool hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Olivenhaine. Die Taverne ist absolut Empfehlenswert. Wir haben im Urlaub verschiedene ausprobiert aber diese war mit Abstand die beste. Hervorragendes Essen und sehr gĂŒnstige Preise. WĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes wurde die Villa zwischenzeitlich gereinigt sowie alle HandtĂŒcher und die BettwĂ€sche gewechselt. Dinge wie MĂŒllsĂ€cke, Toilettenpapier, Tabs fĂŒr den GeschirrspĂŒler und sogar Grillkohle waren in ausreichender Menge fĂŒr den gesamten Aufenthalt vorhanden. Sollte doch mal etwas fehlen reicht ein Hinweis an die Besitzer oder die HaushĂ€lterin. Selbst der Einkauf einiger Lebensmittel fĂŒr den Tag der Ankunft war kein Problem. Wir haben vorher eine Liste geschickt und es wurde alles besorgt. Hinter der Villa ist ein kleiner Garten. Dort wĂ€chst verschiedenes GemĂŒse und Melonen. Alles was dort wĂ€chst darf auch geerntet werden. Fazit: ein tolles Haus mit perfektem Service, absolut zu empfehlen.

Lovely villa in quiet village. A real gem.

The booking and management service for this villa is extremely efficient. Valia from the agency had everything organised and even though we arrived at nearly 1am, Bobbi - who manages the villas and the taverna was there to meet us and saw to everything we needed. Xenia and her husband (the owners) were also on hand throughout our stay to greet us and see we were having a good time. The villa is decorated and furnished to one of the highest standards I have seen in Greece, and I have travelled widely there. There has been a lot of thought and attention to detail. The Villa is cleaned very thoroughly. The bed-linen is high-quality and there are plenty of nice towels. The toiletries on arrival and welcome items were a nice touch. There is real attention to detail here. There were a number of small maintenance issues during our stay - mainly due to an unusual amount of rain but these were dealt with very rapidly, by which I mean within hours of our mentioning them, which is in itself impressive. We stayed at the very end of the season so the pool was cold and we did need the heating (E15 a day) to make it ok for the children but it's understandable. There is a very friendly cat at the property which kept getting on the tables so we chose not to let it in the villa, though it kept trying! There were lots of nice things included: inflatable toys for the pool, a covered kids area - really for young children but ours still managed to enjoy it, table-tennis, Playstation (at our request), card games etc. I was surprised there was no furniture on the huge balcony at the upstairs front of the property and on the patio to the side of the living room, which is a real sun-trap but perhaps this was also because we were at the end of the season. It would be a definite bonus. We enjoyed our stay so much and this place has so much going for it I would definitely recommend it. We travelled as two families with two children of 6/7 and had an absolutely great time. We went to Melidoni Caves, ReptIsland, Bali and other local beaches while we were there - all in very easy reach.

The location was great as it was away from any major streets and it had lovely views. The little restaurant/ coffee shop that the owners have near the villa was very convinient and the food was great. The villa had everything we needed and was very well kept and clean. We loved our stay

Could not be better...

There are really no negatives to this villa. From the first communications to all aspects of the stay, all elements are top class. The villa is superbly appointed, spotlessly clean and maintained as new. All basics are included and the welcome by the host and at the taverna at the bottom of the driveway could not be bettered. Don't hesitate, just book, except for when we return!

Absolutely perfect!!

Our stay at Villa Kampos II was simply the best and nothing could have been more perfect. The house is superb, the pool is great, the view is amazing, the owners are extremely nice. Valia, the manager for the house, has been super helpful and always made sure that we were happy with our stay. The owner of the house was very, very responsive and always made sure we were happy with the house. We had lunch and dinner everyday at their taverna, because the food was the best and the taverna's employees were simply fantastic, especially Despina! We wished we had booked for two weeks, instead of one. The surroundings are gorgeous. All in all, a perfect vacation in a perfect place. We will be back!

Stunning, spacious and immaculate

We cannot recommend villa 2 enough. We arrived at the villa on 15th June. The villa is very spacious modern and exceptionally clean. We were greeted by the owner who also invited us for a lovely meal at the taverna just below the villas. The villa has a wonderful size pool with an outdoor shower area and shared playroom for the children. The outdoor barbecue area was wonderful with the benefit of having an outdoor sink to wash up. We would recommend hiring a car as the villa is set in the country but is a mere 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. The only point we would make is the kitchen could be better equipped, it was missing the little essentials such a sharp knives and other kitchen utensils and enough glasses for the 10 people it slept. We would definitely recommend this villa and would most definitely stay again.
