Do Not Book This Property. The Worst.
While the view may be absolutely incredibly, it will be the only positive part of your stay at this place.
We checked in, arrived in our condo, only to be greeted by the worst smell of cleaning agents. It was so strong we had to cover our faces to put our bags down. The tile floors were still covered in cleaning agent, and were slick/gooey all over with a film of cleaning agent.
We contacted Vacasa immediately, and left the property for dinner, in hopes that it would be remedied by the time we got back. They said they would contact the local staff immediately. A day later after we had already gotten back home, they were still saying that.
Two days later, they said the local staff had gone to the condo that morning, and there was no smell, and no resolution could happen.
It made our stay nearly unbearable, if not for the strong ocean breezes we were able to keep coming through to knock down the smell.
There were also cockroaches in the kitchen, and the furniture looked as if it were purchased second hand from a defunct hotel bankruptcy sale.
Like I said to begin with, the view is amazing. That was literally the only positive thing I Can say about my experience here.
If you are here to party and drink and don’t care about where you sleep, this place is for you.
If you have a family, and want a safe, clean environment, then avoid this place entirely.
I feel bad for the property owners that entrust their property to the managers. I’d encourage them to make a visit.
