We are ready to welcome you to our Oceanfront Executive Suite located at the beautiful Beach Colony Resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach!

Our executive suite can sleep up to six guests and is available exclusively through the official On-Site Rental provider. Your stay will include all linens and towels, and NO departure cleaning fee. You will also have access to our 24-hour front desk.

it would be perfect but security guards ruined it

we have been staying at this hotel since 2017 and we loved it 💜 but this year a security guard ruined our vacations we were playing pool and it was 10:50 since they close at 11 he kept telling us to stop playing, we had one more ball left so he grabbed the ball and put it the pool table packet. we got mad and left mind you they’re were more people playing too. the next day when we were in the pool he kept yelling at my dad and brother it was awful tbh. I wish I knew his name because all the staff in this hotel is so friendly specially the front desk people. but we’re not going back just cuz of him.

Mostly liked, however, nearby balcony smoker

Bedding was clean. Layout of the room was pleasingly unique, living area is closest to balcony, bedroom level is not, but bedroom level is raised with a cut out window so you can still see through open balcony curtains to view ocean. Carpeting is dark so when lights are out it is not easy to see the 2 steps down to living area, so just be alert if walking with lights out! I turned on the microwave light and used it as a nightlight. Even in the daylight my husband almost stumbled on the stairs. Only bummer was that a neighboring balcony had a constant smoker. Don't know if the smoker was above, below, to the left or the right but it was disappointing to have to smell the smoker every time we stepped out onto balcony. A previous person made the same comment about an adjacent smoker so I can't be too critical of it as I knew we might experience the same thing. Just one short block away there is opportunity to go for walks through very pretty neighborhoods. Overall we were comfortable & pleased in our unit.

Non-smoking policy isn’t enforced

Unfortunately what otherwise would have been a really nice week was ruined by the constant cigarette smoke coming into our unit from our neighbor’s unit. We complained multiple times and were eventually told they couldn’t do anything without “evidence.” I guess telling them over and over, seeing the person smoking throughout the building, and the smoke coming out into the hallway through their open door wasn’t enough “evidence.” It was a constant concern during our 7 day stay and really put a damper on the trip.
