The location was ok as it was not among the high rise district so it was more mellow. But there were many issues. The work-out room was inoperable, the TV had no service, front desk clerk said no maintenance person could chk it til morning, no coffee cups in room, shady people on parking lot, no fan in bathroom so moisture everywhere.

Room smelled so bad it caused my kids nausea and headaches. Transient people walking the halls looking for people to bum cigarettes and money from. I mentioned to staff that my room was not clean, I was handed Clorox wipes and glade air freshener.

The staff was great and very personable. Our particular room was across from the ice machine so we heard people throughout the night getting ice and the ice machine noises. The breakfast are was crowded and tight with only hard boiled eggs as an option for warm food with protein. They did have 3 iron waffles which was helpful but the syrup was contained in 2 large pitchers rather than individual packets. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable for the night. I loved the location of this La Quinta and its proximity to the main strip by the beach and it was reasonably priced!! I would definitely stay here again but plan on going somewhere else for breakfast.

Visit was nice room was nice size but there were roaches climbing the wall and in our bed did inform the staff but the only answer I got was oh I’m sorry the furniture in the room definitely needs to be updated had a lot of rips and tears under the bed had trash and dust and there was a towel in the bathroom that was behind the hair dryer that had poop on it

Great stay affordable price

Clean room, friendly staff, Air conditioning, continental breakfast was included, access to (sm.)workout room there was an outside pool on the property however it was closed for the season. Several restaurants beach and mini golf in Walking distance. The only downside and the reason for giving 4 stars instead of five was due to the smell of the room. The hotel was pet friendly and carpeted so there was a lingering smell. However not over bearing. I was able to go to the local Walmart which was 2-3 miles driving distance and grab a can of air freshener. Took care of the smell.
