When booked under impression had a bar and restaurant. On arrival this wasn't the case. Breakfast basic continental and in basement. Not on terrace as in picture. Was clean but basic. No drinks in room, some soap and clean linen and towels. Staff very helpful. Expect to walk to hotel due to narrow access to entrance. Also on hill, not surprising given views from terrace which are excellent.

The property had an overall rating of 3 stars which is why we chose it. Unfortunately the conditions of the rooms were nowhere near 3 stars … the floor was dirty, the furniture was falling apart, the shower drain was super slow. We stayed there with a group of friends and one room had mold and another had ants. Breakfast was OK. I would not recommend.

The hotel sits on a steep, narrow slope where cars can’t enter, so we had to carry our luggage down the hill and then down more stairs to reach reception. Our first room was basically a cubicle in the cafeteria with mold on the walls and a bed in poor condition. The receptionist was helpful and moved us to a larger room with a nice view, but it was still very basic and the shower was extremely small. Breakfast was okay, nothing special but sufficient. Overall, the staff was kind and tried to help, but the hotel’s layout, accessibility issues, and room conditions made the stay less comfortable than expected.

The rooms are nice and staff are amazing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're traveling alone as the neighborhood felt unsafe. Otherwise a great hotel with central location. Montesanto Metro station is close by (7min walk).

A gem just below Castel St Elmo

It was an unexpected surprise that the hotel was previously a convent for the Sisters of the Franciscan order. Refurbished, clean, beautiful garden, wonderful staff, including Gianni, the night concierge and Michelangelo who helped with our bags. The hotel has been running for less than a year. Lovely stay.

Clean and quiet

Clean, calm, comfortable, chill – the exact opposite of Naples. The Italian hotel breakfast standard is super low, this was one of the better we had on our roadtrip, not saying it was that good. The hotel is great overall. It feels like it has just been renovated and cleaned. High standard facilities. Great view from the terrace.

We came off a long driving day a little shaken from driving in circles in The tiny neighborhood streets of Naples.Angela helped us get our bearings when we finally arrived. She and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for more. And the rooftop view was unbeatable!

The hotel was apparently recently renovated, the overall feeling was that everything was pretty new. Bathroom was clean, breakfast room was clean and clear. Breakfast was normal with bread, boiled eggs, coffee, fruits, youghurt, cereals etc. The location is good, quite much uphill walking to reach the hotel but thats Naples after all. About 30min walk to waterfront, short distance to metro station. Atleast from my room, good views to city and vesuvius. The shower cubicle was quite small so if you are on the larger side, it might feel small. No bidee in the bathroom. There were wifi and fridge. AC worked well. The window curtains don't completely black out the room so if light disturbs you, sleep mask is a good idea. Reception is helpful and the customer service was helpful through Whatsapp. I could return to this hotel in the future. Only negative thing was that the room had to be paid in advance even though i explicitly chose to pay the room upon arrival.

The first thing you notice about this hotel is that it is not accessible by car. You get dropped off at the main road and must walk down a weird back alley of questionable residences. Then you ring the bell for the obscure door and go down a flight of steps to the lobby. Unfortunately we came late and i felt unsafe. The inside was a series of dark and small corridors. The room is basic with worn furniture but clean. The best part is the bed. It was firm and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and well maintained but the shower is super small and not well designed. It was not easy to squeeze into the shower door the way they had it. With that said, the breakfast was decent and the view from the terrace was amzing. The location is also good. It was a 15 min downhill walk to the main area of the city via Toledo and Piazza Caterina where you can find lots of restaurants and shops.

The property is located high on the side of a hill in Naples on a narrow street that taxis are not allowed to use. From where the taxi dropped us off we had to walk down a step cobblestone alleyway with our luggage and then get our bags down a step stairway at the property's entrance. It is a recently renovated nunnery and while clean, it isn't fancy at all. The on site staff was wonderful.
