The British Colonial was a great place to stay in Nassau. Small but pristine beach, good location for seeing the local attractions and downtown area. Pool area is beautiful. Their staff is wonderful, very accommodating and friendly! Only improvement the hotel could make is more comfortable beds and pillows.

I did not like that the room was not ready for us at 5pm for check in. If check in is at 4pm, I should not have waited to receive my room by 5pm, especially after a long flight. The room smelled like Clorox bc it had just been cleaned and so upon going into the room, the smell was not pleasant. There were no shower curtains in the shower! All the water splashed on the floor even when you were as careful as you can be. The best part of the hotel was the beach and the food. There’s definitely improvement that needs to be made.

Our room was smelly and there was mildew in the shower and tub. Friends who checked out after us were told the hotel was overbooked and their room was no longer available (they had pre-paid). It got resolved eventually after they expressed their extreme displeasure, but definitely not a place we would ever stay again.
