Cedar Pine Villas - Quiet, 'Luxury & Comfort Rolled Into One'

A newly constructed complex located between Cable Beach and West Ridge. An area of New Providence conveniently located one block of West Bay Street, and 15 minutes from the Airport and Cable Beach hotels and casinos. You can also catch the #10 bus to and from downtown Nassau, or they can connect you to other buses to anywhere you would like to go.

The interior is completely brand new with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful porcelain tiled floors, solid pine doors, tray ceilings with recess lighting in living room area and the kitchen is furnished with new stainless steel appliances. At the end of the living room is a balcony to sit outside and catch the Bahamian breeze. We just got a back up generator just in case electricity goes off!

This is a newly constructed building between Cable Beach and WestRidge, an area of New Providence, conveniently located one block off West Bay Street, and fifteen minutes away from the airport, and all the Cable Beach hotels, restaurants and casino. The house is located about five minutes from three of our local beaches and park. You can also catch the #10 bus to and from downtown Nassau, or anywhere you would like to go. At Christmas time we have the local junkanoo festival, and through the summer months, June through August we have the goombay festival which is held at Arawak Cay. There is also various arts, crafts and local straw works at the Straw Market located downtown.

Neighborhood:: Cedar Pine Villas is located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly families. The area is safe and lighted at night. We are also located at the dead end of the corner, free from all disturbances.

Leisure & Dining:: Cedar pine Villas is located near approximately six Bahamian restaurants. At these eateries you can experience the best Bahamian cuisine at very affordable prices. Below is a list of a variety of Bahamian restaurants located nearby: West of Cedar Pine Villas is Nettie's Place, Poop Deck, Nesbitts, Traveller's Rest & Compass Point. East of Cedar Pine is Olive's Meze Grill, The Pot, Milano Bistro, Fish fry at Arawak Cay, and much, much more.

Our 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our 9 day stay. It was well appointed, extremely clean and very comfortable. We love to cook and pleased that every thing we needed was in the kitchen. We have learned to bring our own small bags of spices. The pool area was enjoyable and private. We didn’t actually swim because the weather was cooler than anticipated. It was pleasant reading poolside during the main part of the day. Our host, Elrena, was a dear person, fun, exceptionally helpful in giving us information, recommendations and making herself available when needed. It was especially nice to have two bathrooms and a washer and dryer. One thing to note is that most of the excursions start by or near the cruise dock. There was little,if any parking. Taxis to this area we felt were very expensive50-6o round trip for 2 people. We rented a vehicle but would recommend doing so for just 3-4 days, esp if you need to taxi anywhere. Thank you Elrena! We definitely recommend the Cedar Pine Villas.

The host was fantastic even collecting us from the airport and taking us to the supermarket on way to apartment. The apartment is a good 10-15 minute walk from nearest beach but that is not a problem if you hire a car. There are restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to drive at night.The apartment is very well equipped and spacious band as mentioned before the host goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome

Perfect vacation

I wanted a comfortable space (with a pool) with easy access to the fun adventures but also with proximity to tranquil beaches. This place was it! Not only is it super spacious and comfortably furnished but it also leaves no stone unturned for what you’d need in a “home away from home”— including everything you’d need for the beach! Most importantly, all the reviews are spot on about Elrena and her family just being the kindest and most caring and helpful people ever. It was such a blessing that I was hosted by Elrena in her condo on a beautiful vacation to the Bahamas with my 3 year old daughter.

Exactly as advertised. Clean, safe and comfortable. Well equipped for a long stay with full kitchen and private pool. Located in quieter residential area. Although we rented a car and checked out all the public beaches including those in Paradise Island, our favorite was the one closest to the rental. The beach within 5 min walking distance was beautiful and often we were the only ones there. Ask the host for directions on how to access this private spot on Cable Beach The host was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on beaches, shopping and dining. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again.

A great experience with a wonderful host

Elrena was a lovely host, meeting us at the airport and escorting us to the property. The property was spacious and clean and well setup for our 10 day trip. We rented a car as we wanted flexibility - but there are plenty of areas within walking distance that were accessible from the property such as a few local beaches, restaurants and a grocery store (Super Value). Overall, between the accessibility to Bay St., beaches, restaurants, amenities and the comfort of the home's spaciousness and pool, our family enjoyed our stay immensely. It was all topped off by a wonderful host experience as Elrena provided many suggestions on food and excursions.I would strongly suggest anyone who is interested in a safer, quieter neighborhood to explore Elrena's place as it checked all our boxes and provided us flexibility to explore the island as we saw fit without having to travel too far. We had a great time at Elrena's. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. We really liked the pool. Everything was very clean. It's not far to the shops and the bus, but in extreme heat the walk with children can be a bit long. Beautiful Bahamas getaway

Villa was very clean and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The property is well maintained with a lovely pool; a tropical oasis right outside. The surrounding area is safe and within walking distance to the market, restaurants and beach. We really enjoyed Meze grill for dinner and Gordon's Bay was a beautiful beach. The hosts are superb! Very helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend staying at this property its absolutely perfect for a Bahamian getaway.

Elrena was a wonderful host. From picking us up from the airport, taking us to the supermarket, showing us nearby beaches and letting us stay an extra night because of a problem with our flight. She made sure there was everything we needed in the property, which was immaculate and very comfortable. She knew it was our son's birthday, so made a birthday banner for him and left cakes and a present for him. She also left numbers for taxis- we used Paula a few times who was very reliable and friendly! The property is in a residential area with a supermarket and restaurants nearby-10/15 min walk (we found a cut through which made it a 5 min walk). The pool area is great to relax around. There is a very small beach on the other side of the main road which we loved as it was deserted! Nassau is very easy to get to by bus -10 or 12b.
