Great vacation spot

A perfect venue for a family vacation. Service was fabulous. Very much appreciated the accommodation to the needs of the kosher traveler.

The property and service are both outstanding. The access to the adjacent water park make it a great family vacation resort. For some reasons there was some small scale-backs from our last visit two years ago, e.g., there were no canoeing, rafts, or flamingo interactive opportunities. Minor. We especially appreciated the accommodations for Orthodox Jewish prayer services and special activities for Yeshiva Week plus the expanded availability for kosher food, albeit the fact that the food was quite overpriced. All around a great vacation.

I always have a great stay at the SLS Baha Mar, but what stands out if the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. You have a real gem there.

Very nice property, casino is centrally located between the three hotels. There are a variety of pools with atmospheres from calm and quiet to family centric to party time. There are various restaurants and food options. All are a bit overpriced for what you get. Gratuity is included but labeled as "service charge" just FYI

The front desk staff were wonderful. Our room wasn't ready at 4 (although it should have been at 3). They were going to contact us when it was ready while we waited. 4:30 - no update 5:00 - no update 5:30 we went to the front desk and no update, and finally they found other rooms 1. The resort charge is very high 2. The final charge was more than quoted by Expedia when I booked the two rooms. The fitness center closes at 8 pm - not much time to use it since we couldn't check in until 30 minutes before a dinner reservation.

I was paying a premium price for a room and expected nicer accommodations. The room was small, there were no amenities (robes, turn down), the shampoo and soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty, and the bed on legs invited multiple stubbed toes. The furniture on the balcony was mismatched and heavily used. Food trays were left in the hallway for more than 12 hours. The pool was too small and crowded, and my husband experienced diarrhea after a meal in one of the restaurants on site. All in all a most disappointing stay. Even at half the cost of the room, I would not have felt I was getting my monies worth. I have stayed in nicer roadside motels in the middle of nowhere.
