Cabin 2 | Headwater

Headwater is the furthest from the parking area. As such, it offers a bit more privacy and separation from the rest of the property. Named after the Mississippi Headwaters in nearby Itasca State Park, this bright and fresh cabin overlooks an area of the lake where the natural aquatic vegetation is abundant.


This two-bedroom, one-bath cabin is filled with fresh, natural light. The warm white wood-paneled walls, modern tray ceiling with recessed lighting, and natural wood L-shaped kitchen will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Greenery and stunning lake views can be seen from the large picture window in the living room and among the cabin decor.


The smallest of the two bedrooms has a double bed while the larger room has a queen. A closet provides storage space for your clothing in the larger bedroom. Both bedrooms open off the living area. Doors add privacy and allow some flexibility in using the living area. There is a sofa sleeper in the living area. Floors are carpeted with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom areas. The modern bathroom facilities include a tub/shower combination.
