Come stay in this fully renovated one hundred year old home featuring a wrap around front porch, large backyard with patio and plenty of parking! House features 2 brand new bathrooms with large showers. A fully stocked eat in kitchen features a industrial Viking stove and hood and all stainless appliances. The becyard features a paver patio, fire pits and grill. Landscaping is being worked on while pictures were taken.

The space was adequate, remodeled and bedrooms as advertised. The owner communicated quickly for the reservation. The location was convenient to the local shops and the beach. The bathrooms were nice. The home was not clean; the refrigerator and kitchen were not clean. Even after I cleaned it and sanitized, I still did not want to cook in this space. I suggest the owner spray for spiders; my husband and I killed at least 20.

Location, parking, and floor plan are great.The interior improvements were great.It would have been nice to have a check list as well as notes on how to do things - Wi-Fi and outdoor lights, and what to do before leaving.

Good location

The location is very nice and allowed us to walk to just about everywhere. Checking in was very simple. Plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies were provided. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness and quality of the property. Because it is listed as “newly remodeled,” we had an expectation that was not met. It was okay.

This property is close to the downtown area. You can walk to most places. The house was a bit dirty. There are definitely some items that need updated. The beds were uncomfortable.The hoat had good communication.

This is a great location for walking to downtown New Buffalo and the beach. Great restaurants near by. The kitchen was well stocked. The house and yard does need a little TLC but that didn't bother us too much. The owner was real quick to answer any questions I had prior to our stay.

Family wedding weekend

The house is beautifully renovated
 although we would have liked to know it was located along a main road. Maybe we missed that part in the listing. Aside from the main road the location was great to walk to all the things 
 it was clean and the backyard is amazing! Also there is a hole in the sink of one of the bathrooms with tape over it, I’m sure the owners are aware and hopefully fixing soon. Thank you.

Nice but reviews were misleading

I think it would be fair to say the property was 7/10. The pros were the location and the cleanliness of the interior. The exterior is a worn out when compared to other properties. The patio furniture is mostly unusable due to it not being protected from the elements. It appears the owners are making improvements and the property may improve over time. Overall it's an older property with potential but still requires significant updates to compete with other properties.

Great Stay

We have been doing the same weekend in New Buffalo for over 10 years. This house was exactly what we were looking for. Its in a perfect spot, right down from Beer Church and Barneys. Also exactly 4 minute drive from Four Winds. You can see the lake from the street in front. We really liked the lay out of the house as well. Its nice how the kitchen and living room flow together. The back yard is really big and nice. The Tiki bar is a great hang out spot! Check in was easy. Had to text Joe about something and he was great about responding. Kitchen had all you need to make meals. Grill set up was good too. Those who dont know New Buffalo. Beer Church, Caseys, Hummingbird, Terrace Room, Timmothys, Stray Dog and if your up for a 10 minute drive go check out Joe & Freddys. All around great trip and we were happy with the house!

Great location for family getaway

We stayed here for an annual family trip and enjoyed ourselves. We had 6 adults, a 2 yo and an 8 mo. Overall it was great - lots of parking, the tiki bar is a great addition, gas and charcoal grills, nice sized kitchen. The only things that we may have nitpicked were that the property may need sprayed for spiders (could be seasonal) and some cleaning materials were left out in the open. This would be no problem for a group of adults, but we did have to stow things away while we were there. Perfect location and would definitely recommend!

Peaceful stay in great location

Great house that was wonderfully located so that we could walk to shops and beach, which was nice considering the competition for parking at those locations, and also have a nice place to relax together. Enjoyed time in the backyard using the grill and playing games as well as indoors in the living room and kitchen.

Great house

This house was perfect weekend away with two families. Plenty of space, clean, great walkable location and amazing outdoor space. It was great to have a nice backyard set up when kids went to bed. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, general cookware you needed. House very clean, they did a great job renovating. We would definitely stay again!

Enjoyable, comfortable and convenient

We had a nice 4th of July weekend and felt well at ease here. Much of the house has been newly renovated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. In the kitchen the dishwasher is 1st rate and I can envision that the stove and refrigerator will soon get upgraded as well. The outdoor space in the back was very usable and enjoyable, particularly the Tiki bar. The front porch looks inviting but we didn’t use it. Keep in mind that this is an old but renovated gem and you’ll have a nice time. The area is very walkable.

Excellent family getaway

Great location for first time for our family of four to stay in SW Michigan. House is older but has been fixed up nicely. Big back yard and tons of parking space. Owners were great to communicate with. Easy walking to restaurants and stores. Kitchen is small but well equipped to cook for family of 4.
