I stay at the Gansevoort every few months, and the reason for me is the lobby Staff. The Bellmen know me by name (or pretend to) and always give me a warm greeting from the moment I arrive.

The Gansvoort was fantastic for my stay for a girls shopping weekend. There are fantastic restaurants all around the hotel with great atmosphere and buzz. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable (and have a bathroom door which lots of design hotels seem to not have any more and I don’t want to see my friend go to the toilet!) The staff were very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed it so much I’ve booked to go back in a month with my husband and kids.

Great stay

We have stayed here in the past and the staff is always accommodating with smiles. The room and hotel in general are clean and in a good location. We stayed during a snow storm and the floors were dry and remained clean. Enjoyed the treats and bottle of water we received in our room. Appreciate the check in and check out times which are earlier and later respectively than other hotels. Thank you Gansevoort.

I recently had a one-night stay at the hotel to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. Erica at the front desk warmly greeted us upon our arrival. Her enthusiasm for her job truly shines through, and it made us feel welcome right away. Marcel was also fantastic; he helped us with our bags and was very attentive throughout our stay. Lastly, Aidin, the bartender, absolutely made our night incredible! His service and friendly demeanor added a special touch to our celebration. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so memorable!
