Clean and appears to be recently re done-everything is super modern. So much so that in my handicapped accessible room (not necessary but i booked late) the room lights were confusing to figure out. They required some explanation and for weary travelers it was frustrating.

Overall a great affordable stay if you are looking for affordability and a solid area. It is a bit of travel to popular areas but if you're ok with the subway, public transportation or taking taxis, etc. you'll enjoy. It's a solid, clean place to stay in an area that felt comfortable walking around during the day and at night. Just note, there are a couple comments noting that there was stuff stolen from their rooms so understandable to be weary but overall had a pleasant experience.
